I am working on a OAT Khanda and I'm a bit stuck on the VNM part of it. I'm looking for any advice on how to tackle some of these VNMs by myself, if possible. I do have people in the LS I'm with who are willing to help, it's just very hard to get times to do this down since we all have different schedules.
I can solo the T1 VNMs just fine and dandy. The T2 ones though, Erebus and Feuerunke, pose difficulties in soloing. Then there is the matter of Lord Ruthven himself.
I have Blu and Smn to lvl 90, and just trying to find ways to tackle the T2 NMs. Blu is fully merited and decent gear, Smn is almost fully merited and needs more gear, IMO, but it is decent gear.
My thoughts:
I am a horrid blink tank, I can handle Erebus okish until his Hundred Fists and then I just go down. I'm inclined to try a Blu spell with bind on it and run away until his Hundred Fists wears off. Worth a try even though Erebus is bind resistant. Or set a variety of stun spells and try to keep Erebus stun locked during HF. This was at lvl 85 however, things might be different at lvl 90 Blu. Then too soon the level cap will be 95, and it ought to be easier to tackle these VNMs then.
I might be able to fight Erebus and Feuerunke as Smn. However I need more -perp gear (AF3+1 basically) and I want to finish the Vayu staff for the -perp/BP delay for Garuda before I try taking them on. Otherwise the avatar perp costs take too much out of my mp.
Do these sound reasonable or is there anything else I should try or consider? And is fighting Lord Ruthven solo as Smn (and winning) even a possibility?
My main goal however is to try and be able to do the T2s solo, so that when I ask my LS for help it's not for upgrading an Abyssite and just in fighting Ruthven.
Hmm, I see Wiki has Feuerunke listed at lvl 87. Assuming Erebus is the same level, does this mean that I now get Signet evasion/defensive bonuses against the T2s since they should be Even Match or below?
