My remaining 2 Mega Bosses Cleared (Mis. Coast / Kon. Highlands)
My remaining 2 Cataure Bosses Cleared (Raja / Rani)
My Evasion Skill at 350/361 (currently at 312/361)
My Parry Skill above 100/361 (currently at 89/361)
Iga Leg Seals 8/8 (currently 2/8)
Iga Feet Seals 8/8 (currently 4/8)
Callers Leg Seals 8/8 (currently 2/8)
Caller's Feet Seals 8/8 (currently 2/8)

I also hope to have the following done by next week (but don't 100% expect to):

Shinryu & Atma of the Appoc.
Atma of the V.V.

Last week I managed to accomplish:

So those were my goals... and it's noe been exactly a week (considering have no intention to play for the rest of the day). Let's review in total... what I managed to get done.

When I'm bored and the forums are slow I look in my list of subscribed threads. I click on threads that I don't remember or that are locked, or that have funny titles.

When I get sick of that, I go into my profile, click the statistics tab, and click "Find all thanked posts by Aksannyi" and read all of my epic win posts.

When I'm tired of that, I'll read "Find all posts thanked by Aksannyi" just to see what kind of epic stuff I thought was funny.

And when I'm done with that, I'll go read old threads on BG. Like the one with the stolen Ninurta's Sash, or old Hades drama threads.

And when those get old, I'll search the background check forum for Hades threads and read those.

I can always find epic fun stuff to read. I enjoy reading my old posts on forums. When I'm exceptionally super bored I even check out some of my super old shit on Alla. Usually unless shit is really like deadly slow, I've found something new to read and respond to by the time I have to resort to going to Alla. Because their forums are super ugly.

Though now, we have the official forums, which are hours of entertainment at all times of day.

I can understand giving stuff away... but I never understand people who drop rare ex stuff. What purpose does that serve other than to deter you from returning? Why not keep them in the event that you one day return... and have something to return to?

Thats what I figured. When I quit over 2 years ago, I almost did the same thing. It would have been the only way to stop me from coming back.

I chose to simply uninstall. I figured that the 8 hour re-install/update would be enough to deter me... then I got a new PC and it halved the time. I played FFXIV and it made me a sad panda... end result... I came back.

FFXI is very much like My Little Pony... I hate to love you...

i tried to quit once...got through about 9 ir 10 months i think. Glad i came back though.
