Goal for this week/next week: Get drg to lvl 70+ (probably at least 78 for the Aby armor so I don't need to worry about anything in between but AF), and then work on all the skill ups that would be missed and get the AF. Also, while skilling up, level up my NPC =D

Ahh.... Hovering Hotpot. I loved him. The shitty part about that guy is that there isn't anywhere for you to idle safely. Everything in his room aggros to 99 and wander the entire room freely. If you're going to camp him... you had better be prepared to remain at your computer and keep on killin.

Also... one of my kills took damn near 5 hours to spawn after the window opened up. Here's hoping you have better luck than I did.

I still have to finish my quest to increase my Fellow's Level cap to 65. Once I'm done with that I'll snag a new tactics pearl and be ready to go.

Complete samouri quest, complete dragon quest, look at others to complete before taking pld and sam to 50.

Well I just solo'd Drg to lvl 39 (thanks to Jarre's soloing War to 50 in Delkfutt's, I had the idea to do the same and it's working Marvelously, thanks Jarre =D ) And I might be able to solo it much farther this week depending on how well the CoV's work in different areas. I think it's actually funner to lvl it solo than it would have been getting it PL'd to uber high levels. The sad part is I already out damage my whm that's twice the level, Lol. XD

Goals:

1) PUP to 40, at least, and the first head upgrade done.
2) Finish, at least, one more piece of +1 armor (WAR feet, DNC feet, or BLM legs/feet)
3) Finish, at least, one WSNM trial (axe most likely)

Yes I still need a vivid valve... and if percolator is the other one you got... you're rich my friend. I couldn't ask you to give me a 300-500k attachment...

Thought I’d post my WAR/Skilling progress since that’s the majority of what my time is being spent on. Capping these are my current goals (cept maybe parry/shield).

440/400 Great Axe
334/334 H2H
380/380 Dagger
433/433 Axe
373/373 Evasion

Working on
245/398 Staff
239/388 Club
225/398 Sword
19/388 Polearm
16/404 Scythe
0/404 Great Sword
229/368 Parry
150/378 Shield

GS, Staff and Scythe will be my nemesis.
Think I’ll be ok with PA since I have Quint spear.
Club & Sword will be ok since I can DW them.

I’m thinking for Parry and Shield I’ll just stack up 3 regen atmas with –pdt gear and let 5 mandies pound away at me while I AFK. Making sure my weapon is drawn but unable to attack my target…should work..right?

Should, but you need to be facing your target in order for parry to proc at all. What do you intend on targeting that doesn't run the risk of walking out of range and making you disengage?

A buddy of mine managed to come up with a solution once. If you have a buddy who's not nothing better to do with his time (or a second account you can dual box preferably) you can party up, have the alt hold one mob with x3 regen atmas on while you concentrate all the other mandies on you with x3regen atmas and -pdt gear. Target/engage the alt's mandy from a distance and go make a sandwich. 5-6 mandies should be enough without running the risk of dying.

I might also suggest Apkallu in Abyssea - Mis. Coast they double/triple attack fairly regularly and have terrible accuracy+Damage.

Fun Fact:

Parry procs only if Evasion fails to proc. It would be in your best interest to stack up on -evasion gear to get the best rate of procs on parry.

Those are what I use when I try.

ALSO!!!!!! Super alternatively.... you might want to invest in getting x2 axes that are miserably low damage. Use those on a crowd of Mandies and make sure auto-target/auto-engage are on. It'll take you forever to kill even one of them... but you won't need to use the alt character method I suggested above.
