I hadn't even thought about Limbus (Temenos, I looked it up). I may give that a shot, since I don't need three to enter.

Hmm, come to think of it…Limbus areas might be one of those spots where the mobs don’t give xp or drop regular items (like tigers dropping hides…etc).

So…that actually might not work.

- Kill 200 slimes, 200 beetles, 250 funguar and 250 treant mobs to get to the geode trials for Indra's Staff

All done. Also got all the geodes that I needed so I have a shiny new Indra's Staff +3.

Goals for this week: Finish the 'kill xxx family with ice damage' trials and get up to the geodes trials for Varuna's staff.

Once past the day/weather kill trials, these trials aren't too bad!

1) Continue to progress through Rise of the Zilart (currently stopped at Sky access)
2) Get the 38 more geodes to finish the Staff (I don't really want to buy all of them, so this may take awhile)
3) Level either DRG or RDM to sub

1) Finish Rise of the Zilart, just the final fight to go.
2) Geodes
3) Finish RDM to 49 (currently 21) and collect Phalanx and Refresh from Royal Jelly.

related: acquire a huge pile of money so I can level Corsair.

Finish my Armageddon. I figure if I pull out all the stops... I can be close to (if not) done with with it by this time next week.

Everything else is on the back-burner. I still want to head into Dyna and Nyzul to get more of the gear that will soon be available for upgrades... but I figure I always have time for that later. When they drop the new upgrades on us, people will be flooding those zones like crazy anyway.

Bronze bullets from the NPC vendor in Bastok. Buy about 30 stacks. It'll cost you around 50-100k but it'll last you up to around skill 270. Also make sure you still use Quickdraw (it skills up marksmanship too... and it seems to proc more often). You'll want Racc gear to make sure you don't waste any shots on misses.

If your skill level is around 100-200 still, I suggest you head to Uleg. Range (present day) and target the worms in the tunnels. They typically only use single-target spells and you can Sleep Shot them if they become a problem. Fire away from a distance and just run away for any spells that look like it'll hit you too hard. If you go as /DNC you can use your TP to regain health... since there are no multi-shot Marksmanship WS for COR... and you're not going for KILL SPEED. It'll take forever to kill anything... but it makes time go by quicker if you set a macro like:

/ra <t> <wait 10>
/ra <t> <wait 10>
/ra <t> <wait 5>
<call 4> <-------mainly just to wake you back up to press the button again.

Make regular use of your "Triple shot" ability.

If you can find one on the AH... buy up the gun with the 216 delay. It only has 17dmg on it... but the delay is totally worth it... again... not going for speed.

With that gun equipped, you can drop your RA macro down to a 5-6 second wait in between shots.

Once you break 225 on your skill... you'll want to head into Aby with it. Throw on x3 Regen atmas and all the Racc gear you can get and do the same thing I wrote above... only you'll be targeting the worms in Aby Uleg. Range instead... near Flux #5. You'll regen HP faster than they can take it off you. It might help to come as /DNC to heal up and remove debuffs if they happen to cast slow. It also doesnt hurt to cure after you get nailed by a Quake.

hey cid do you have rng lvled cuz bolts are way cheaper to make thats how i killed up my marksmenship , btw bird mobs seem to for some reason proc skill ups more also guesing due to their weakness . birds comment is of my own experience as drg rng and cor just seemed pierce weak mobs gave me most skill ups quickest

Nah, if I had Ranger leveled I would have figured out how to make large piles of gil to swim in and wouldn't be so concerned about the cost. I'll probably look into shooting worms since they can't fight back. I just don't want to end up pouring all my gil into shooting forts in Zvahl with floored accuracy.

I'll probably look into shooting worms since they can't fight back. I just don't want to end up pouring all my gil into shooting forts in Zvahl with floored accuracy.
