I did bees (honey/chips), crawlers (silk, MND cape from NM) outside of Windy near the 'main' entrance to Horo. Ruins. Moat carp a bit. Also at around 30 I hit the leech beaches in Bubu pretty hard. Course back then NPC'n the blood was double what it is currently BUT there was far more competition. It might be more worth it now that nobody goes there anymore. Now the leech beaches are vacant unless someone is trying to farm up a SMN ruby.

THF is really a good investment at lower lvls for getting gil. Hell, lvl'n THF from 1 (if you haven't) alone would net you quite a bit of gil in crystals alone. KRT might still be the better option. Not sure. Never really hung out in there for anything more than popping the ghost for the low lvl evasion cape.

If I was needing gilz lately I'd proly farm moss... that stuff has sky-rocket'd on my server.

@Squiggs: The main reason I'm doing it is for Invisible scroll. That'll get me about 50k on AH. I already managed to farm one there, so I figured it couldn't be too much more painful. I might have just been lucky though.

@Neverslip: I might consider switching to leeches due to them being a decent payout for the amount of work. I got a few stacks while farming for SMN ruby. I do have THF to about 19 so I'd be able to sub it to DNC.

Of course farming would probably be easier if I was doing it on a job with decent damage output, instead of WHM's fairly low damage.

Yeah.. only real gil I've ever known WHM to be able to farm is taxi'n people around Vana w/ tele's. Course' tele's cost gil too. =/

I really have too many pretty good friends here on Hades/cerberus. If my LS ever goes defunk, I'll totally consider it... but that's really not likely to happen. This is the least drama LS but easy going group of people who are incredibly motivated but not selfish I've met in FFxi. Maybe sometime I'll take a vacation... such a costly virtual vacation though, lol.

I quested the first three. They were easy enough. The Altep one seems easy enough with Sneak and Invis. The Yhoat and Vahzl ones don't seem solo-able for a WHM.

I might try being a taxi for a bit to see how well it works out.

People offer anywhere between 3-5k in P Jeuno for teleports. Its fairly easy... you just have to be quick to invite people who shout. You wont be the only one trying to make money that way.

Sure they are, just not at the level you need them. ahem Anyway, tele-taxi can be okay in short spurts, but is not really all that reliable.

KK... bumping this thread back. Even though it was Yyg... it was a good idea.

Things I'll work on (but not necessarily in a week):

Gonna get back on track with my STR Shamshir now... Since I got Isador I'm far less inclined to keep going on two at once.

Gonna attempt to get back on track for Twashtar. I stopped early. I'm on the kill Serra 4x stage. I just hate SE's pop timers for most of their mobs. I'd love for them to scale back on them. My wish is make em' all w/in 2hrs or give em' all pop items. This 'anywhere from 1-6hr' mentality is retarded, imo.

Might consider doing an Eva dagger sometime. Seem to do fine as it stands w/ my set currently... so no rush at all.
Wanna lvl RDM (low 20's atm), WHM (24, I think), WAR (43, I think), RNG (37), and MNK (18'ish) up to 49.

Oh, yeah... and I want to fish up that NM and get my BLU scarf too. Get my THF earring... get the SAM cape... I wantz all my accessoreez NOWZ!!!
