480-500? 700+ with the ring? Good lord! I can't wait to level RDM now. I'll be level 45 in less than 24 hours with a little solo work, 1 party in Qufim Island and a trip to abyssea.

Guess who just found his goal for Saturday.

What level is your RDM anyhow?

I think the last time I played on my RDM I think I could solo reasonably for like between 40 and 60 exp per kill. So it looks like that could be 80 and 120 with the changes? Idk ... I just need to find a good PT and rake in the boon on exp chaining.

Theres a story behind that...

Back in 2005, when my friend Adam and I decided we were going to play FFXI together, we decided early to choose jobs that would benefit one-another. I opted to take WHM, THF and BLM. He took WAR, MONK and RDM. Years went by and we reached our respective level caps. Eventually I took on SMN when it was an option and maintained WHM as my SJ. There was never really any need for /RDM when you were a SMN... and I never took /BLM off my WHM for any reason at all.

Fast forward to the present.

Suddenly the level cap increases and abilities such as convert become available for /RDM.

So... now I have a reason.

Yes. Yes, you do. Convert --> Cure VI as WHM still gets me all tingly.

People in my LS were talking the other night about the increased exp & how addictive it is. Perhaps I'll pull out my 45NIN over the weekend and get it at least to 49. Maybe even beyond if I'm having fun.

Over the weekend my main goal is to farm seals for SMN and NIN as well as get 3 more mega boss clears for my 3rd lunar. The lunar is my top priority.

So far I've cleared La Thein, Grauberg, Attowah and Vunkerl. I also got Sippoy while I was in Vunkerl. I just want to be able to equip Cloak and Dagger, Razed Ruins and Stout arm on my NIN and tear sh*t up. Is that so much to ask?

Oh I have /SCH, it's 42 right now. I still have to bring it to an abyssea some time in the near future to bring it to 49... but until then, it still works for what I need it to do.
