Re: Welcome to Dynamis, version 1.2

If you don't like the length, keep in mind that every single relic armor is obtainable from the Dreamworld Dynamis zones, and those are much shorter runs.

The downside is that the Dreamworld zones may not be self-funding (not as many currency because not as many mobs), so you may be paying to play (somewhat like Limbus).

    yet not a mote of dust is stirred;
Moonlight pierces the depths of the pond,
leaving no trace in the water.

Yeah... I know about the Dreamland ones... my experience with the dreamland ones is that we always do the ones that I don't need relic from. And some of those mobs ALWAYS wipe my LS... f'n dahmels... I'm just tired of being depended on for a vidgame event times. I've had to take a break from the endgame scene because of that. It started to become more of a job than I wanted any vidgame to be.

Yeah... I know if I expect to get the shinies a sacrifice needs to be made. But, for now, I'd rather cut off my hand than do Dynamis... okay maybe not the whole hand... maybe a finger... or maybe part of a finger... on my left hand... maybe just a hang nail... yeah... I'd rather get a hang nail.

Instanced Dynamis would be a good addition too.

PS > LOLOLOL D. Chapeau rage. But then I'm probably one of the only 2 players in all Vana who laugh at the thought of wasting inventory on the particular piece of armor. Heck, I'd trade 5 Chapeaus for Relic pants if I could.

I used to think the devs were responding to this concern, creating things that can be done in less huge blocks of time like CoP dynamis, Limbus, Einherjar, Nyzul...

Then they came out with Abyssea and now *exp parties* are longer than original Dynamis runs. Sure, each one of those mega-exp parties earns as much as five or ten at Mamool Ja Staging Point (or even more pre-ToAU), but it's still a pain that I can hardly even exp on weekdays anymore.

I know, right? Don't get me wrong... it's fun wailing on mobs as fast and hard as you possibly can... but it's really a commitment for the evening if you happen to get into a alliance. At least the reward is right there for you ... instead of a: will it, won't it, can't it, nope not tonight affair.

Re: Welcome to Dynamis, version 1.2

The prices dropped a bit more, but Dynamis Currency seem to be moving swiftly now. I guess a lot of people are doing Relic armor +1's (for the heck of it)? Heheh.

                  From our second ever Dynamis-Buburimu:
                  37 one byne bill
                  45 Ordelle bronzepiece
                  1 sorcerer's belt
                  2 wyrm belt
1 pair of saotome kote -1
                  41 Tukuku whiteshell
                  2 pair of summoner's bracers -1
                  2 pair of bard's cuffs -1
                  1 valor cape
                  4 melee cape
                  3 pair of warrior's mufflers -1
1 pair of melee gloves -1
                  1 koga sarashi
2 pair of argute bracers -1
                  2 pair of cleric's mitts -1
                  2 pantin cape
1 pair of mirage bazubands -1
1 pair of pantin dastanas -1
1 pair of etoile bangles -1
                  1 pair of duelist's gloves -1
                  2 mirage mantle
                  1 warrior's stone
                  1 scout's belt

                  Yeah, it's raining relic accessories.

15 relic accessories and 11 -1 pieces on one run?! And practically enough currency to pay for the run, too.

I remember when two members of my old LS (including me) had 50 run locks on valor cape for months before we saw a drop, and we were half convinced that duelist's belt was a myth. And don't even get me started on Chapeau-1 or the BLM-1 from Tav that one of our senior BLMs was looking for...

Maybe I should find a new Dynamis LS after the holidays. XD

It was more than enough. To be precise about it, it resulted in a gross profit of 832,600 gil after all the currency were sold.
