File Size for Nov. 30 Update

Downloadable file size and time required for FINAL FANTASY XI version update that is scheduled on Nov. 30, 2010 0:00 (PST) are as follow. This is based on 1Mbps DSL environment.

Downloadable file size: 32.1MB
About 52 minutes

Windows Version
Downloadable file size: 62.5MB
About 7 minutes

Xbox 360 Version
Downloadable file size: 62.6MB
About 27 minutes

PS2 limitations. It's like trying to update a typical Windows 98 system. That's why it takes so much longer.

It's not all download time, there's time taken up by all the file checks too. The slowest is the File Repair, which could take two hours for one broken file... if you're there in the middle to hit the stupid "yes I really want to fix the one broken file" button.

Anyhow, I'm glad I checked new messages and found this thread, or I would have forgotten to start the download before leaving for work.

I'm not that good at math, but that seems to be slightly longer than 7 minutes.
