Abyssea Solo Content

Is there any solo content in Abyssea areas? I ask because otherwise I think I wasted my money on these add ons. I rejoined FFXI, and I heard the exp was great in these areas. Unfortunately I am unable to get a party (create or get invited) due to the fact I live in Korea now (same time zone as JP) and do not speak fluent Japanese (I speak some, but without IME support, its useless).

So that I don't burn $20 on nothing, is there any way for me to use this content solo? Thanks.

You can do Bastion, which is basically a super hyper version of Beseiged. Once you do a few resistance ops you should be able to do some of the quests that are soloable (one, for example, in Vunkerl requires you to run from point A to point B and back with a weight effect on and it's soloable).

Beyond that, I find it very hard to believe you can't get an English speaking party. There's tons of people in the Abyssea zone at all hours of the day. I, myself, have even stayed up waaaaaaaaaay past my bedtime just because the exp I was earning was insane. I know I'm not alone in this either.

Just taking a quick peek at your signature, I’m assuming you have 8 jobs at 75+? 5 of which should have little problems getting into an alliance imo (Rdm, Whm, Blm, Sam, Pld). Blu might also be sought after because they can help build azure lights I believe. As for Smn & Bst….I’ve had very little issues getting into parties as both those jobs.

Still having trouble getting anything during my prime time. I got something early on saturday which was in NA prime time....so I hit 80 on my RDM. The others other than BLU are 75. BLU is 71.
