Password Error X-Box 360

    Password Error X-Box 360

    I recently linked my account with my new Square Online Account or whatever it's called (SquareEnix's new system for gaming), and updated my password from the computer.

    Well I decided to log into the game on my 360, and since my password was updated, it failed (since I had my password saved and set to auto-sign me in). I went in and updated my password and got an incorrect password message. I tried again, and it still failed, until it locked me out. I tried again and I got fails again, so I made sure by logging into SquareEnix's FFXI site for account management, and got in fine. I even got into the SquareEnix ID system fine as well, it's just my 360 that won't log me on.

    I was thinking of uninstall/re-installing the game, but that was a ridiculous hassle, so hoping to avoid that. Any suggestions on how to get the game to allow me to sign in properly?
    My character's name is Cadar on Cerberus.

    Hate double posting, but I contacted SquareEnix, and they changed the password for me. I can log in from my computer with the new password, but not from my 360.

      Well isn't that a kick in the teeth. Sorry to hear about your problem KoL but thanks for sharing with us. Sometimes no one may know the answer but it helps when you tell us how you get it resolved so we can have the answer for other people. ^^

        ok so it works with SEs main site? Go into your account settings in POL on your 360, and make sure your changing the right password, there is the POL password and the account password.

          Ok, I got it working with the pw that Square gave me, but word to the wise: DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD, lol. I had to uninstall and reinstall the game to get it working properly.

          EDIT: As a side note, does anyone know how to change your password yourself?
