Error Code POL-1158 when I try to Update/patch *PLEASE help*

Okay, everytime I try to download the Update/Patch it gives me this error. I've tried to google it I've been on support lines with Linksys (I even tried it with just the modem connected to the computer) and it still wont work...it will prepare the update but the SECOND its done preparing it gives me that error.

Heres the annoying thing... I had to uninstall this game about 3 or 4 months ago because I just didnt have time to play it, but the patch downloaded just fine back then. I actually remember downloading it the first time like a year ago on this same computer, then the 2nd time worked, now it keeps giving me this Error.

I have the STEAM version and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I've also tried to verify all the files. I dont know what the deal is and I cant get ANY answers from anyone.

You might have to contact them to get clarification. Either that or hit up the Steam forum/customer service for a last ditch effort.

Ok. So i have a solution for this that doesn't require you to re-install ffxi! I'm aware the previous posts were in july but i myself just bought the game off steam this new years and ran into this problem.
