    You might want to work on that instead of playing games then.

    I doubt I'm the only person who wouldn't invite you to a linkshell because you can't communicate.
    I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

        No you get it when you play Zelda, save it to your memory card, and then import it into FFXI. Oh and you have to play the JP version of Zelda too.

            Re: New To Game

            Linkshell is usually (somewhat) mistakenly described as FFXI's guild. It's an in-game item which is each individually associated an unique communication channel; i.e. when a player type in the "Linkshell mode", everyone on this channel will see what he types, while no one outside of the channel will receive the message.

            "Getting into a Linkshell" means receiving a Linkpearl made by the Linkshell holder (or one of the Pearlsack holders). Because of this, there's a sense of membership, and since there is no official guild system in FFXI, people tend to consider this the equivalent. Unlike many other MMORPGs, there's no in-game consequence for joining an LS (receiving a Linkpearl), or leaving an LS (unequipping a Linkpearl or even tossing it away).

            "On LS" means having the Linkpearl equipped. "Off LS", obviously, means the opposite.

            It's not uncommon for a player to have multiple pearls for different activities. Many "guilds" even use two or more different Linkshells, with one being an "event" shell for large scale events (such as Dynamis) with more inclusive membership, and a different shell for the core members when socializing or doing more competitive activities (such as NM hunting).
            Bamboo shadows sweep the stars,
            yet not a mote of dust is stirred;
            Moonlight pierces the depths of the pond,
            leaving no trace in the water.

              I think Valefor is a good server.
