    File Size for Jun. 21 Update

    Downloadable file size and time required for FINAL FANTASY XI version update that is scheduled on Jun. 21, 2010 10:00 (PDT) are as follow. This is based on 1Mbps DSL environment.

    About 1 hours, 27 minutes, 30 seconds

    Windows Version

    About 9 minutes

    Xbox 360 Version
    Downloadable file size: 136.8MB
    About 1 hours, 8 minutes

        Thanks for posting that up Mhurron. Due to my work schedule and websense, I don't have the ability/time/energy to go and look for myself. I also hate waking up to find out that I have to wait for an update before playing.

              Because they should just write the same code and have it run on three different pieces of hardware with different OS's?

                Is PDT 2 hours earlier than CST?

                So this would start at Noon CST (Chicago, IL area)?

                      Yeah, that's what I was talking about, SE should use the same code on all platforms regardless of the fact that that's impossible.

                      It's not like I meant that I'm surprised SE's still making different updates for people with different expansions activated. That's only the possible answer.

                        If they still offer that free 14 day demo, then it makes sense to offer an update that doesn't include the expansion related stuff as well.
