Ordinarily we complain about maintenance/updates but this time I'm complaining that SE has not told us when the march update is gonna happen. This is kinda driving me crazy because off all the world mergers and really I'd like to just get the whole thing over with. This whole month I've had a fear of the AH and delivery boxes!

How are you guys taking this? like I said it's driving me nuts...

I've pretty much stopped playing until the server merge happens. It's too stress inducing.

Mid-March. Ya they're stretching the definition of mid, but it will probably show up next Monday or Tuesday with an announcement tomorrow.

Honestly, they aren't going to spring the update on you one morning so don't worry about your delivery box or selling things on the AH.

I wouldn't put it past them to not give us a hard date before doing the merger. I've stopped moving big ticket items around on the AH also. For now I'm just shuffling crystals around so I can fund daily chocobo and teleport expenses.

I think what's even more maddening is that we haven't even been subjected to the usual dribblings of info about what's in the update since the initial announcement over two weeks ago, so we can't even get a feel for when it's coming. When we saw the notice that world transfers would be closed, everyone just assumed that was when the update and merges would take place.

It would be the first time in 8 years you weren't given advanced notice. The world merge is why they aren't sending out the rewards for the Nomad Mog bonanza until after the update.

If you honestly think they are going to spring the update on you, you might need to adjust that tinfoil hat. It's slipping and your crazy is starting to bleed all over the place.

Also it's march madness time, SE is just getting into the spirit of things.

getting this worked up over not having a date? really? Talk about making a mountain out of a hill -.-

SE is not just going to pop up one day with out warning and do the update, you will know at least 5-7 days ahead of time. Continue to sell your items and play like normal, then when you hear the update notice, take your items out of the AH, not that hard -.-

It's outta our control... I was expecting it sooner. I agree that SE won't just drop it w/o any hype. That's as likely as Amy Winehouse cooking with something other than spoons and lighters. SE loves to drop tidbits for about a week prior to the update. That they have been completely quiet about it since dropping the bombshells is kinda unlike them even with as many balls in the air as they seem to be juggling these days.

It's madness because servers in the same boat as Seraph are almost completely empty. The dunes sees only a single party most nights, which is absurd. Bad in the day you couldn't find a place to set up camp, and every idiot kept saying "I just go to Buburimu lololol," even though they never did. Now Buburimu probably sees even less love than it did before.

I agree. FFXI is loosing most of its low level players too as they are all leveling up to higher levels, and now a lot of zones have barely anyone there. I sit there and to a /sea area, and only see what... 2-3 people in a zone when there used to be at least 20+ at all times now.
