Does anyone use a 'Wal-Mart money card' to pay for FFXI?

I don't have a VbV supported credit card, and after playing the trial I REALLY would like to keep playing it. I heard the Wal-mart money card supports VbV, but can anyone confirm this?

AFAIK, prepaid cards don't get along with VbV. But you can certainly try.

Far as I can remember, SE has never accepted pre-paid cards for FFXI and likely never will...

That's not quite true Malacite.
I used to use a Virgin money prepay credit card from 2006- mid 2009 until I recieved a card from my bank when I changed it so I didnt have to worry about swapping money around each month.
As far as I know the virgin prepay cards still work but I haven't used my one with FFXI since around July.

If you check my post history you'll see I mentioned the prepay card many times.

According to my friends at Gamefaqs, it IS possible to pay with a Walmart money card. Apparently I can't link the thread, but some guys confirmed it.

I can confirm it works. I pay for one of my accounts using such a card from Walmart. But certainly, not all visa gift cards everywhere will work. It's a pain to find one, but keep on w/ the hunt and you'll find what you need.
