Cross Platform Question

Hello all...
I have a question -

I have FFXI for my XBOX 360. I wanted to know if I can use my FFXI account on FFXI for PC, or if I need a separate account?

Basically, does my account work on other platforms, or am I tied into FFXI for XBOX 360?

Your account is completely independent from any hardware device, you could use any system to log in, even a friends (if they have the game on their PC/system as well, but of course I would not recommend that anyway)

Why not? Just use a Guest Login and your information won't stay in his PlayOnline.

Thanks for the help... I think I'll stick with it on XBOX... my computers are either macs or run linux, my computer I was thinking of also playing on is a 2.4GHZ Core 2 Duo running Vista.. I think Ill stick with xbox 360.

Well, why not play on that? I play on both Xbox and PC, depending on whether or not my GF needs the PC for work, and I'm always disappointed when I have to play on the console. If for no other reason, on PC you can make the game look far better than on Xbox. I also love being able to check things online while I'm playing, which, unless you have a laptop beside you while playing on Xbox... Etc.
