Interesting question. Just for testing purposes I suppose? I'd rather just go in and get the job done than wait for tiles to fall, BST to attempt to charm, etc., etc.,...

Kind of a cool thought though.

I was thinking of a BST Burn type scenario. Start with jugs, then drop down charm the diremites, then call again if need be.

I hate to do this, but....initially, this sounded like a fun way to try and down Diabolos. So I went to lunch and ate my nasty Wendy's shitken sammich...and thought about how to get this done in a full party of BST's....and I advise against it. You would be looking at a full 3 ring circus trying to keep everybody alive, awake, and poisoned...as well as keeping your pets alive, getting 6 BST's to target 5 or 6 different diremites/full party pet swapping/counting on draw-in, all while dealing with sleepga II and the everj-so-wonderful nightmare. I didn't mention the mischarms did I? Forget the 3 ring circus....it's a logistical nightmare.

Are you looking to do this for CoP or is this Prime?

No, I have my Rajas Ring and Diabolos. I notice there are potential pets below and wondered if they were usable.

I wonder if they in range of the platform. I probably need to walk in solo with a nice buffer to test a few of my theories. I only posted because I thought someone already noticed and tried/researched it.

I see. I wasn't sure if you had it completed or not. I thought about the charm distance as well. I've only done the fight a couple of times, but i remember it looking a bit long. I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with though.

Doesn't seem so complicated to me. Move to one corner, sic pets, move all BSTs to an opposite corner, you're safe. If they have the balls and trust their peers they could melee as well, since you'd have 6 people capable of doing Smash Axe, and /NIN would give you 2 chances to stun Nightmare in the same WS, greatly dropping your chances of total failure (e.g. 20% chance to miss becomes 4% chance to miss both hits.)

Odds are the diremites are Impossible To Gauge or over 10 levels higher than you, but worth checking if anything just for curiosity's sake I guess.

I thought about that too. That statement was made based upon my assumption that the diremites in question wouldn't be reliably charmable by 6 players at the same time, leading to a quick end to the fight. Everything up to and after the pet swap portion of the fight is actually really straightforward.

I was thinking that it might be a bit more plausible to get 6 BST's to enter, call beast, cool timer, 2Hr, usual prefight preps etc., and just get the fight on. Having call beast available to all six BST's would allow for keeping the fight's pressure up. EDIT: Basically, I'd get all 6 players and pets in on the fight from the start.

Losrase, if you BST this, could you post up your findings? I think it would make for a cool read. Thanks in advance.
