After having to wear hats like 90% of the time in ffxi I prefer wearing a headband or hairpin for a change.

I do think the Moogle misson helmet is cute because it reminds me of Marvin the Martian.

The SCH Mortarboard is one of the reasons I'm actually considering taking SCH to Lv60 since, after seeing a chaarcter with the same head as mine, it looks quite good on my character model.

I like the look of the Zenith Crown too for WHM. Utterly useless but it looks great when idling in a Noble's Tunic/Blessed everything else.

Scholar's Mortarboard is sure stylish. Not only that, but it comes with glasses! I wish there were good headbands in the game though. I love wearing Blue Ribbon with my Summer Yukata.

Which is why I love the Scholar's Mortarboard. I play a Female Hume (long story about that, to sum it up I wanted to be an Elvaan but was talked into by someone that Elvaan make bad mages) and she looks great in the full SCH AF.

Another cool head peice: the Eyepatch. While it it's stats are useless for anyone who isn't a BRD it does look very cool for melee damage dealers.

Goliard hat is *almost* as cool looking as the RDM af and relic hats.

Also, +1 on askar (and the very similar homam), COR af/relic, DRG af/relic, and the Marvin the Martian helmet.

because who doesn't love to have the LOOK of an O-Hat and be able to make your PT leader say WTF???

I had one of these drop in a KSNM. Someone said something like "Hey Sar your O-Hat dropped!" and it was so funny at the time (I went to 5 consecutive O-Hat runs and /randomed single digit numbers for every single pop so I never got my O-Hat) and it became a meme in my LS when I equipped my "Fake O-Hat" for a laugh next to the O-Hat wearers in my LS. Usually when meeting for an LS event they would all get out thier O-Hats when I would get this thing out so they could all /point, /laugh then /comfort after killing a bit more of my soul each time they laugh at my lack of a real O-Hat.

My terrible luck with drops and /randoms to use pop items is also a running joke in my LS so it became a sort of meme that I'll never own a real O-Hat because the eyes will never drop with me in the party. Because of my terrible luck with drops I will be forever cursed in my LS as the only person who actually lotted on and equipped this thing.
