Exactly what part do you call BS? The fact that noscript stops the VbV script from running?

VbV doesn't keep your CC information safe, in spite of what Visa would like you to think.

if you can show me what that script does 100% with any hidden actions, then I take back my BS, but I just find it a stupid move, to install something from someone you don't know, to bypass a security feature.

NoScript does one thing, prevents Javascript (and others) from running unless you specifically allow it.

ok noscripte, I had heard about it, but had forgot its name, ok so its not BS, I thought there was more to the validation thing anyway.

But its still stupid to bypass any security measure, no matter how pointless you fell it is.

VbV is not a security measure. It is a way for Visa to push the burden of paying out over disputed charges from them to the issuing bank or blame the user masquerading as a security feature.

No one here should not know what NoScript is. Go to the Computers forum and check the only sticky.

As for the rest, it's not clear what, if anything, is actually being bypassed. Is the error generated if you attempt to go through VbV w/o some cross-site script protection significantly different from the error caused by the use of totally bogus information? I haven't attempted to change my info since this was implemented.

Yes, the VbV bit should fail if given bogus information. If it were allowed to run that is.

The bank I have all my accounts with doesn't do either VbV or SecureCode, yet I got this shit dumped on me by SE. I wouldn't be playing the game anymore if I didn't have a friend that could bypass this so called 'Security measure' using a console.

While true, getting a friend to bypass is a lot easier than spending money on a toll call only to listen to bad hold music. Also, I'm likely to get the one idiot that's currently on that will take 30minutes just to find what I'm asking.
