Overcharged!!!!!

I was over charged for my FFXI account on november 2nd. I just noticed this when I had recived my bank statement. I was charged for $27.90. I went onto the website, and I can not find their number or a way of contacting them. I want my money back that they over charged me. I have one account only, but it was 2 characters. Should only be $14.

Has this happened to anyone else. The bill is from SQUAREENIX5 though which I have never seen. Is anyone able to provide a number that I can call to get my money back or anything of the like? Thank you.

or something.

Often happens when their billing system has a problem and doesn't charge for one month. You end up getting double billed the month later.

Thank you. They changed their support website so I was unable to find it. I am so used to the other version. I will have to give them a call on monday though. Thanks.

Often happens when their billing system has a problem and doesn't charge for one month. You end up getting double billed the month later.

I have never had this happen though. But its such an odd number though. It should be more like $28 though. With having 2 characters would be $14 +tax if there is any.

Alot of people forget that when they purchase an addon or security token. Also, did you restart in October? I got billed for October + November since I restarted the 2nd of October, it comes up together on your bill(I've quit and restarted this game enough times to know >.>)

before calling anyone, go check your bank movements and make sure its not normal procedure

dont automatically assume they just ripped you off...

No. I don't like the new add-ons that they are comeing out with so far. I would also rather buy the pack for 19.99 instead of buying them individualy.

I know they charge you for both months if you quit, then start up again the next month. I've done it before, but I havent done it in a while.

If that's the case, call SE. DON'T DO A CHARGEBACK, THEY WILL BAN YOUR ACCOUNT. Although when this happens I've heard of some people getting it back within a few months, and someone else getting it back after a year, if at all. So I wouldn't hold my breath.

It wouldn't matter if they ban my account. I like playing the game and talking to the friends I have made during my time. But if they will keep charging me like this, I will quit. Its not worth more than 15$ a month anyways. I just want the money back that they overcharged on me.

They banned my mule account and I'd never done a chargeback on it, lol. That was the reason the gave me at first, and when I called to get it taken care of they changed their story.

SE sucks ...
