Is there an invite friends feature on FFXI? Where you can recruit your real life friends to the game, and if they stay subscribed for atleast 3 months you get like 1 month of free gameplay? Most (if not all) pay-to-play MMOs have that feature.

There is a friend recruitment system in place but you're rewarded with in game items rather than a free month's subscription.
