Hello all,
It's been a while since I've hopped on the forums and talked with everyone, but I've been here and around... Well it's not me that's really around, but aparantly someone took my Tarutaru for a trip.
The reason I knew? Well my account was charged for an amount of $52.95 from Square Enix, and brought a giant exclaimation to my head.
Why was I charged this amount when I cancelled my account at the end of June 2009? Most curious.
Upon further examination I noticed that my Tarutaru has been busy!
First I searched on ffxiah.com. Player Search - FFXIAH.com
I noticed there were two Omniblasts. Now I know for a fact that there is only suppose to be 1 person in all of FFXI named Omniblast. So I looked into my Remora account. Omniblast - Remora - FFXIAH.com
Now if you notice that activities for all of July & August has been gone, because I cancelled my account in June, they billed my last billing on July 2009, and that was suppose to be the end of it. But my Tarutaru rose from the dead and came back to life on 9/9/09.
Now I know for a fact that I was unable to play on 9/9/09 because... well I got married on that date! Yay go me. Committed for life to another fun game...
My Tarutaru's activites soon became very suspicious! Purchasing Minnow, selling my Astral Rings x2 and my Noble's Tunic. For an obscene low price! (Well I guess it was low now, but I remember purchasing that for about 10 mil, and I usually wouldn't stand to lose that much gil on a purchase even with economies of scale in effect.) (Also WHM is my 1st 75 job, Just because I stopped using it doesn't mean I don't want to play it anymore.)
It also looked like they sold a lot of Adaman Ore on my account, they also sold a bunch of steel & gold ingots.
Anyways, after that, well soon after my Tarutaru took a trip! To the underworld! (how appropriate.) Omniblast - Hades - FFXIAH.com Got a world transfer to Hades and soon after was ... BANNED! HAHAHAHA Sucka! That'll teach you stupid GILSellers to mess around with my Tarutaru. So I must thank the citizens of Hades for banning Omniblast to prevent further GS activities and dragging my online Persona through the mud. Props for whoever GM that banned him.
My account information was not changed, and since I just noticed a charge to my account from my credit card, I called my credit card to have them back out the charges. Now I just got off the phone with SE and they said it my account was banned (which I had a hunch since activites stopped on 9/18/09). They filed a banned account report, then after I get my account back I will file a restoration report with them. In order to prevent this from occuring in the future, I plan on having my character suspended. (my first trip, well with me playing anyways, to Mordian Gaol.) That will be one strange request to whoever GM that gets it. Suspend my account to prevent further use of my name. Nice.
Thank you for reading my fun little story about my little Tarutaru. I have since gone to play another game and thus cannot dedicate my time to playing FFXI anymore. I am on Aion, on the Ariel server.
