I played the demo and stopped I just started playing again and as I do like the updates I hate the fact that there is no one left playing and the AH have nothing for sale.... how long will the keep this game going and will there be more expansions added

Have you been to Jueno yet?

Also, there is still the next mini-expansion coming out soon but beyond that it's still up for questioning. We probably won't know what will come next until after the next mini-expansion/update hit.

yeah i have been to juno and it dose have the most seletions but still not that many... im on Alexander since friends of mine had guys already made on that server but there really isant that many Peeps anymore... i will look out for the new mini episodes...

Uhh, lots of people play FFXI. You probably got on during an off-time or visited zones that nobody goes to. Whitegate is usually pretty flooded with people, but I'm guessing you haven't gotten the stuff to go there yet.

should tell you when stuff is being released. Or it's usually on the PoL when you log in.

BTW, what were you looking for on the Jeuno auction house? If it's lower level gear, you'd have a better chance finding it at the starter city auction houses. The Jeuno AH usually doesn't carry lots of low level stuff.

nothing in particular.. i just remember it always being full... are you also on alexander?? maybe its that there are not too many low levels left

most of the stuff i try to seel just gets returned to me... but all in all im am still loving this game

You must have played when FFXI was at it's peak. I remember Bastok used to be packed full of people. When I started playing again in 05? 06? There was NO ONE in bastok lol. I was like "do people still play anymore?" Then I made my way to Jueno and realized, there's not a lot of noobs anymore and a good chunk of people who still play were already 75's.

But they did mention that they may have 1 more expansion to be released right?

On Hades... the cities are pretty dead until an event brings people back to get -1 gearz. I was lucky that when I started it was during the event that people help the lovers find each other and then the one where you /dance to kill the NM to get bathing suits. People were all over the place. I've even noticed a decline in Jeuno lately... or rather, a graduating to WG I spose. Alot of the friendslist I made when I was low/mid level have moved on it seems to me cuz they are no longer ever on.

I just wanna know (confirm) we got all of WotG at this point. I've been checking wiki to see if there's any further mission info and it seems to stop several missions before the end. Does this mean people just haven't played thru yet. After playing up to "Purple the New Black" I was very excited to continue/finish WotG and get an end prize but I don't see a end reward listed yet either. And also, why am I capped in gaining Allied medals and there's still 2 I cannot get?? Are they unlockable or unreleased? I woulda thought there was some excitement for WotG getting done and people clamoring to finish it, much like aCP and the Moogle mini one... idk... maybe I missed something vital in all the crazy information. I have been known to misread wiki before (^.^)d

Get yourself to Aht Urghan, then see if there really isnt anyone on, unless you lag horribly. Plenty of people still play the game, just gotta know where to find them =D

SE could turn the servers off today and you wouldn't even have a chance at having a leg to stand on when it comes to a lawsuit. So no, not finishing WotG is *not* lawsuit material and it's ridiculous to even suggest that it could potentially be so.

Much like every other expansion before, the missions are spread out in chunks over multiple updates. However, unlike previous expansions, WotG's missions are split up between actual missions and "quests" you must do between missions for the three nations. Because of that it's taking twice as long to finish since we only get new missions every other update. WotG will be finished, Shantotto's mini-expansion will come out and be a waste of 10 bucks and the game will keep running long after FFXIV finally opens. The only thing in question now is if we'll ever see a full sized expansion again instead of these crappy mini-fetch-quests from hell expansionettes.

I'd still rather have a Naja Accession expansion than a Shantotto Accession expansion though.
