Saving macros to Playonline !?!?!?!?!

ok 1st sry if this is writen some where eles if so plase just point me in the right direction :

ok my question
can (and how) i save my macros to the play online server...

i have been having a hell of a time with this game
i play on xbox360 and the game files corrupt so easy to the point where the game can not read the CD and i have to uninstall reinstall just to get it to work again
(almost quit playing the other night after 3 reinstalls in the same week)

if anyone has had this happen you know it takes 3-5 hours to reinstall this game and on top of that im a BLM and have sooo many macros

so if you could tell me how to save my macros to the Play online i may beable to keep playing if i have to rewrite all my macros again i think im done and that sux cause i love the game (only been playing a month and reinstalled 10 times no lie)

You go to the character choosing screen and on the 360 controller press the Left "bumper" button along with the Left Analog stick at the same time. A window will pop up and you hit A or Enter.

Losing my data cuz of a RRoD and getting an entirely new 360 to replace my old one is how I learned to do this ... it also stores map markers and configuration settings.

Do the same thing with the R button and the right stick to load them back.

...and that's also the same way you do it on a PS2. The only difference is the PS2 has one more L/R button to confuse you. (instead of triggers)

ok i got the pop up screen but it tells me no files ... am i missing something ??

Think you just have to hit "A" and then it will save it all and give you a confirmation date or something. Only going off of memory here as I'm at work. GL

yeah that what i tryed but it tells me not files found...

(im on Xbox)
i really think i have a bad CD or something... i have the vanadiel collection CD with all the expantions... any time my internet goes down or i lose power the the game tells me it can not read the CD & i have 2 copys of that same vanadiel collection CD and bolth do that same

if i uninstall and reinstall it works but that take almost a day with rewriting my mage macros... also my roomate has the original CD that came out for XBOX...and if i put his in when it cant read mine it will tell me the files are corrupted and it checks the files and then lets me play...
i dont get it... i just want to play this game with haveing to deal with this almost every day now

but thanks for the help i will try all the buttons tonight and try to save them again

It might also be (and this is a shot in the dark) that it will work better if you install FFxi to your HDD for that quick play ez access thing 360 has. I have a disc that is "unreadable" but since I installed it that way, I've never gotten that error message.

lol man you are right on point ... however i tryed that too... it tells me that it is an unsupported action or something.. i read that when it frist happened cause it was playing and then i got this error i took my xbox back and replaced it... it still didnt read the CD i got another copy of the game and it didnt read ... so i know it had to be more on the game i looked this up and read to install it ... and it will not let me kinda like i cant save my macros lol lol

this game just dose not want me to play it
i wish i could get a copy of the orginal CD but i am about 6year late on this game lol

im waiting for The the secret world to come out or if FFIV will be on Xbox
