8. Doppelganger Gog. He can spawn Lv.23-25, me and my ex duo'd him when we were both 23 if I remember right. I was on WAR/RNG with a Great Axe, she was on THF/WAR. We used Piercing Arrow -> SA Fast Blade for Distortion at the beginning of the fight, then I went pale when I realized how much HP he still had left. Between my ex stalling him with Perfect Dodge and my using Mighty Strikes afterwards, we managed to kill him though.

Absolute Virtue, Almighty Apkallu - The ever elusive. It was fun reading about these.

Bloodtear Baldurf, Sea Horror - Killed me on my way to San d'Oria for the first time. Thanks for the lulz.

Guivre - Slaughtered many of my parties during those interminable Kuftal levels.

Tom Tit Tat - First NM I fought. It was a draw! Meaning that I ran away.

Tumbling Truffle - Estya's quest for a Fungus Cap was an awesome read.

Stubborn Dredvodd, Dune Widow - I camped these, despite knowing that the items they dropped were not worth the trouble. In the end, Dredvodd was more stubborn than I.

Marchelute - Remember when mobs didn't despawn when they lost aggro? Good times.

1. Charybdis - Thanks to him, I grew to hate Sea Serpent Grotto
2. Leaping Lizzy - First NM I ever killed, 1/1 on Bounding Boots =D
3. Valkurm Emperor - Because its fun to camp him and kill the PH's only to have a n00b camper fuck with the spawn timers
4. Omega/Ultima (airship) - Because as if taking down overpowered NMs wasnt enough fun, you also have a time limit.
5. Pandemonium Warden - Lives up to his name, no sooner we engaged him, pandemonium ensued.
6. Absolute Virtue - Badassness to the extreme, I dare you to call him lolDRG to his face >.>b
7. Quu Domi/Mee Deggi - 0/124 on both and counting /sigh
8. Carnero - Damn you for popping for everyone but me when I was a lowly SAM

In no particular order:

1. Tiamat.
2. Khimaira.
3. Ouryu.
4. Simurgh. (Nothing like 3-manning him with THF, RDM, and BRD. One of my best memories.)
5. Purpleflash Brukdok (Random BLM and PLD? I think ... helped me kill him for the AF1 quest. Won't ever forget it.)
6. Marchelute (I remember soloing him on secret beach while newbies watched on in awe ... felt good)
7. Centurio X-I (Loved camping him for gil.)
8. Jailer of Faith (My first Jailer!)
9. Steam Cleaner (So much fun duoing him on RDM/NIN with a good friend)
10. Tumbling Truffle. (I used to camp him for gil way back when, and I have fond memories of that time.)


Honorable Mention to AV and PW, because I've fought them both but never successfully beaten them. However, the most fun I ever had was a valiant attempt at AV right after the update (but before the zerg discovery) helping out Ex on their attempt, months before I got in; and the time we attempted PW on live stream for all of BG to see.

Mine are... Any NMS that are a force spawn, and wont jip you on items that you have been after for over 3 months, and still havent yet to get it. (Glares at the O-Kotes Nm)
