Cruel is the point. Though with some of the linkshells I've seen on Hades, they'll get their hate reset, when they die.

Hell, even good linkshells have people who cross the hate line get drawn-in and killed, but the whole shell doesn't lose their wits when it happens. They raise the guy and move on, and the PLD gets back what hate he'd lost. A lot of linkshells PLDs never get hate back, they just magically let 4 people get killed before they get shit back under control.

And I used pummel because it sounded like a really hard hit. XD

Oh also I realize the gear drops would be kinda broken, but I don't care. They'd be really rare and only useful for relic holders anyway.

Shit, I'd be some sort of badass Orc that drops out of the sky and Dak Attacks a bitch for an instant kill and a knock-back effect for everybody else. Every thirty seconds, I jump up into the air and Dak Attack somebody else at random, including another knock-back effect. My only ranged attack is to complain about the quality of something, terrorizing the targeted character, which is effective in conjunction with the knock-back effect.

My two-hour: Summon Aksannyi. She'll float out of the sky, /check everybody, and if total NQ gear is greater than HQ she casts doom on everybody. If the other way around, she'll give you haste to hurry you along. She doesn't need you wasting her time.

MY only question: would the relic things accept the raw (completely un-upgraded) relics, or only fully-upgraded, or some combination of the two (any relic that's at least partially upgraded)? What about non-relic-weapons, such as the Horn or Shield?

Beyond that... awesomeness. SE should hire you for their next expansion to design new NMs

Fully upgraded. There would be no point of it working with anything else. This is just cruel enough for SE to fulfill their promise that they'd enhance relic weapons. lol

Ghorn is already powerful enough. Can argue the same for shield.

Since i somehow knew aks would throw everyone off track, i stopped by to post what NM i would be, since i like NMs, and furry bunnys :D

If i were an NM, i would be:

Cerealus Killerus Maximus lvl12 NM

I would be a 3ft tall black bunny rabit with 2 green stripes that randomly spawns in East Ronfaure, West Saruta, or North Gustaberg.
Every 15min-3hrs

HP5,000
I would use all regular rabit attacks, plus one attack called Maximus which would do (1-15 x lvl (1-75))/2 (max dmg=563)
TP regain under 25%

I would have a .05% chance to drop:
lvl50 Maximus Charm (acc+12 r.acc+12 chr+5 (hidden effect str+1 dex+1 when tp less than 100) r/ex

Also would drop all regular rabbit drops as well as Maximus Paw which of course would do nothing but npc for 1500gil
(later cut to 250g cause of RMT of course)

Samurai, level 52 Nm.

Abilities:

Tashio: Reflects the sun's light off of the Katana to blind all foes in range. (Day time only)

Rashio: Reflects the moon's light off the Katana to weaken all foes to magic in range. (Night time only)

Have all of the Samurai abilities up to lvl 60.

Drops would be Samurai armor, and Ninja heads (Orc, Goblin, ect...).

Tharkisis's Katana:
Damage: 56
Level: 55.
Delay: 480
Additional effect: Deals light or dark Damage depending on the time.
Additional Effect: Attack speed may be increased for the next swing.
Enchantment: Use Raishio, or Tashio depending on the time. (1/1 [0:00/5:00])
Be 55% chance to drop.

I would be a crab NM called Stealshell.

As my name implies, I'd be a THF, with a twist. I can attempt to steal from the player who has hate, taking something from their inventory. If successful, I'll auto-flee and head for the hills. If I lose hate completely, I despawn, taking the item with me. Only way to get the item back would be to defeat me.

Drops would be any items stolen and not recovered with a 5% drop rate.

Oh, and like Softstep or the YY weapon, I'm invisible till I aggro... and my first ability after aggro... STEAL!

I wouldn't be a NM, but a NPC instead.

One that would only show up on Campaign battles and mission/quest BC fights. But who would never appear in cities for more than a few minutes unless there was an event going on.
