I'm really more of an importer/exporter, you know, potato chips, and diapers, but I've been seriously considering dropping the importing and just focusing on the exporting.

I played in Nov 2002 before it was out in the states. Forced importation...my JP friend bought me the hdd for my birthday. LOL

Still in Midgard here... but I play less and less it seems now that Campaign is all that and parties are almost a thing of the past...

Still on Ragnarok from July or August of 2002. Finally reached level 70 with 84 days of playtime last month. Stuck on the BLM Maat fight after 5 failures, and considering leveling my WHM from 48 to 70 to do the fight with that, but not wanting to have to deal with another equipment set and the money for more spells and equipment, when I've never had more than 150k on me.

Still in GuardiansORagnarok, which I got into at NA PS2 release, and have a few other LSes I've gotten pearls for over time.

Yeah. Bochara from Ragnarok. Then Midgard at NA Launch. I had to come back when I heard about FFXIV. But my old username on this forum was ghey, so I made a new account. Wawnt 2 be mai fraynd?

Veskar on Ragnarok, started playing May 03. Confederation vet. played up until december of 07. picked it up only to drop twice since. lots of good memories but cant bring myself to play anymore. waiting on ffxiv

So those of you with JP account still, how are you handling the new billing system? I need to register a JP mailing address to continue to use WebMoney via Crysta, and they now explicitly state that non-JP credit cards are not accepted for direct payment (which has really been the case since the end of 2008). The old account registration guide that told us how to input a JP address back in 2002 has been deleted years ago, and I'm concerned a fake address would more likely be detected and result in a ban now.

Supposedly we can link JP POL accounts to NA SE accounts, and thus convert to use domestic payment options, but only if we never linked in the past, say to get a Security Token and Mog Satchel. I linked the month they released the option, so I'm stuck, and cannot reactivate my characters. My choice is to quit, start over with a brand new character and account, or hammer the support forms and emails until they do something. I see protest going on on the official forum over the new payment system in general, but only a handful of importers having problems that can still post there (me not included since I cannot post after my account deactivated). My post on the JP section of the forum has been read ~600 times, but only one response from another importer has come up, nothing from JP players or SE staff.
