It actually depends on how Job Friendly the next chapter is, ACP Final Chapter for example, does not like Dragoon which obviously sets me up for no invites to finish it .

I was told by a Party Leader when I asked for DD slot that quote *Dragoon is not DD enough* unquote.

Random bit about mathilde she was actually found on a trading route by the millioncorn guy. (aka her adoptive father) So most likely she was being carted off to moblinville and might've fell out and escaped or was just chucked because she'd been poorly fed or some such.

I will get as soon as it comes out, and finish it asap. you know theres going to be a giant battle at the end of all 3. Plus i dont mind the gear. i wonder what piece will be on the next expansion and augment choices.

Seeing as none of the expansions will be related to each other in any way, I sincerely doubt that. These are all stand alone mission lines from the guy who brought us RotZ, and as far as I'm concerned, he's 0/2.

Well, then, you have two options.

1. Find a less stupid party leader

2. Be a less stupid party leader and form your own party for it


In general, it's not a good idea to expect others to do for you what you're unwilling to do for yourself (in this case, organizing and leading the event). Sometimes you get lucky, but more often you get frustrated.

Month old topic, I know, but I haven't seen a recent discussion about this so it's better then a new one.

Holy CRAP I am glad I didn't pay for this.

It starts off with another Fetch Quest, all three newbie beastmen types.
Then goes into a HELM fetch quest, all over the starting areas
Then it apparently requires Choco digging
Then you need to farm key items from Cardians. You only need one, but if you have all four, you can do more dmg and fight less mobs.
Then you have to hunt for nine somewhat random ??? in QSC, but they won't even let you start that quest unless you have the QSC map.
And then you finally get to the first BC.
After that you're sent to Beaucidine to play a "game"...where again you need the map. 6 semi randomly spawning elemental NPCs have part of a password and you gotta run all over to get it. You end up with a 50/50 chance to guess it right
Then, Vrtra asks you math questions.
Then you have to find a certain spot in Zahvl...as a lvl 1. They give you 3 minutes of Sn/In.
Then you have to find some moogle NPC in the keep
Then you do the final fight. If you lose, you go back to the glacier.

Holy crap this "expansionette" is balls.

Yeah, likewise Ziero. They did an amazing job listening to player concerns regarding ACP and delivered more of the same with even more added blatant timesinks. Requiring the maps for those zones was a stroke of pure genius though. Will be fun for anyone trying to get their QS coffer AF over the coming weeks.

Whew, I'm glad I got the QSC map last week... oh, wait, I didn't sign up for this piece of crap!

What an amazingly masterful assortment of time sinks. If I ever have an evil genius headquarters lair, I'm going to have to hire this guy to design it.

Its really not that bad..... I had alot of fun doing the HELM and chocobo digging (I had never really done it before... yes the whole 6 years I have been here ;p) and am now interested in both.
The final fight is funny and amusing, and of course lets not forget the awesome helmet you get at the end.

Well, I got my money's worth just loling at Ziero's synopsis. +1 on the glad I didn't pay for it. Kinda sorry I'm missing out on the hat, but again I'm not paying SE ten bucks for an item any sooner than an RMT.

I pre-ordered this darn thing out of some contrived, altruistic, foolish hope that S-E would have the decency to make this thing meet the incredibly low standard of "not ACP," but apparently they failed to do even that. I faceplamed at my own naivete the second I stepped in to my Mog House and saw "Orc, Quadav, and Yagudo" again.

I will not make the same mistake next time. No matter how awesome the trailer (because the Moogle trailer was pretty awesome) or the Hands/Legs/Feet piece (not even new, decent RDM front-lining gear is worth the RMT, despite it being the only way S-E appears to intend on giving us any from now on), I'll sit in the ever-growing skeptics boat and wait for the reviews inevitably decrying A Shantotto Ascension as "even more of the same."
