several times. And, found none seeking again each time.

I mean, seeing no tank jobs with flag up night after night may be a good reason for wanting NPC tanks
did you know, you can ask people who arent seeking? =O
that's usually how i set up my parties, getting people w/o their flags up

I HATE when people ask me for a party when seeking. To me its rude as hell. Especially when you just want to solo or go out and so what ever for a while, and not want to party. I even get invites when I am /anon...

People who send me invites while soloing, or doing quests annoy the hell out of me. I never ask anyone that isn't seeking to join a party as I know it is aggravating.

I even got spammed by one person... 5 tells in about 30 seconds asking if I wanted to join a party as my Sch in the dunes at lvl 14... I kept ignoreing him, until he started literally spamming me. I just sat there and replied... "I AM NOT SEEKING FOR A GOD DAMNED PARTY, STOP EFFING ASKING ME!" and his reply was this: I just wanted to gain one more level before I logged off... Eff you." And I just Blisted him. I get tells like that pretty often, asking me to join their party when I am not seeking, ignoring them doesn't work, some times even responding doesn't work.

I think that its rude that people ask you to party when you are not seeking, and its really annoying. Anyone who does this pisses me off.

Some of my best PTs have been while I havent been seeking, or when ive asked peeps who werent seeking. If you arent interested, simply put a seacom up. When asked though, dont ignore the person, answer back {Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.} its that simple

I've done that, but it gets to the point where I just want to quit the game at times XD And it will only get worse as I level up ninja, and then eventually Rdm/Nin (Solo 1-75 ). Then I'd be getting tells saying that I'm gimp for doing /nin on rdm XD

            People actually read seacoms?

I have a bard friend who uses the seacom "{Party} {No thanks.} {Invite to join party} = {/blist}" and it doesn't do any good. I guess the lesson is if you don't want to get spammed go anon.

Seriously though, if I wanted a party I'd put my flag up.

Thats the thing though, just cuz you're not flagged up, doesnt mean you dont wanna party. Some people may be in the process of putting up their party flag, or may have forgotten for whatever reason (a very engaging LS conversation maybe? its happened to me =P) Needless to say, yes it is frustrating when you have said no or have a seacom up and people still keep pestering you, but no need to get THAT pissy about it

I tend not to mind the /tells asking about a PT, though chances are fair that I won't have time. At least it's not a blind invite, THOSE are annoying.

You do have a point, but its the ones that ask you to join a dunes party when you are level 60+. I don't want to go any ore than 5 levels below my current level due to skill cap issues later on. My Sams Katana still isn't capped and hes 75, yet I've played him for 2 years.

I mean, seeing no tank jobs with flag up night after night may be a good reason for wanting NPC tanks, don't you think? (Heck I even tossed in the "no need for amazing AI" bit to indicate these NPCs are not supposed to outperform human players, but go right ahead and believe I want robots to replace people while you are at it.)
They did that, they're called NPC fellows. Why would SE add such a feature without tagging on an EXP penalty with it. You're getting assisted by an NPC whose faith in your ability will never waver and their times with you can be extended, rather than the mobs BSTs get to charm, which will turn on you at the most inopportune times if you can enlist them at all. And for that, we dealt with an EXP penalty for quite some time.

Solution here is to level your NPC fellow, but you want to have your cake and eat it, too. You want the NPC without the penalty. You want your penalty to be payment in some form for the NPC's services. Easy way out. Level your NPC fellow, set it to tank mode and make your parties. Really, see how well it goes.

Also, again, for the levels you're describing, your definition of "tank" is far too narrow. BLU, SAM and DNC would like to have a word with you.

The only thing I'll assume is that you intend to paint me as some sort of villain for undecipherable reasons. For everyone else, I'll give him or her a chance in party to prove his or her worth.
That's rich, why the sudden change of heart? Just days ago, you were ranting about English speaking PTs for auto-disconnecting on purpose. Where was your benefit of a doubt then? Where is your benefit of a doubt about being a replacement? Surely you've had PTs that still went on for a respectable amount of time after your arrival. I know I have.

I did. For like 2 hours. And then I failed at sleeping.
