  • Where to find FFXI? A few questions about Token

    Hello FFXIonline,

I've been trying to hunt down a PS2 version of FFXI (Vanadiel Collection 2008) to install on my PS3.
Anyone have any idea of where I can find it?

Also, where can I buy FFXI the cheapest? 360, ps2, or PC (Just looking for Registration Codes)

Token Question: Can you link two FFXI accounts (With different names) to the same SE account with one token? My roommates are wanting to do this to their accounts.

    Thanks!

The 360 version is $15 here in San Antonio. There are no registration codes though. We have to use the disk every time we play.

I'm sure you can find some copies on eBay.

Each account is tied to a Regsitration Code, which means you can only have 1 account on it. If you're roommates want to play, they have to track down their own registration codes.

You can, however, share the same account. You can purchase multiple Content ID's on an account. Each additional Content ID is $1 added on to the monthly fee.

I think everyone is getting confused on the roommate question.

        Can this be done?

Two POL accounts with FFXI characters on them be put onto one SE account via the internet. You can have up to ten POL accounts attached to SE account

You can put multiple POL Accounts on a single SE Account, yes.

Whether you really want to do that is another matter.

After you have linked both POL Accounts to the same SE Account, if you and your roommate every part ways, you cannot split the POL Accounts--as far as I can tell, whoever has access the SE Account basically has access to both POL Accounts, and the POL Accounts can never be unlinked afterward.

The security token is associated with the SE account only--that means in order to use the protection it offers, both players must have access to the token (or its results in real time), which may be difficult if you two no longer live together. Your only other option is to not use the token.

Come up with the extra $10, and each get a token.

But can the two POL accounts have two different names without causing problems on the SE account?

As far as I know, the names on the POL accounts can be different.

The PC is the easiest to find for reg codes. I think you need two SE accounts and 2 keys(one per account) tho
