How to see what skillchain activates?

So I been trying to figure this out but apparently people I know dont know what Im talking about...

What I want to know is:

What do I have to filter or NOT filter in order to see what skillchain activates?

I dont mean skills like Viper Shot or Tachi:Enppi

I mean skills like Liquefaction or Distortion

If I recall correctly if you turn off the filter for damage dealt by yourself and by party members, you'll be able to see the skillchain. From what I remember it's connected to the damage of the last person in the skillchain, so if you don't see their damage, you won't see the skillchain in your chat log.

Also, if you're the second person in a skillchain, switching your gear right after your weapon skill stops the skillchain from showing up in your chat log for some reason.

I really wish they'd fix this already. It's not just skillchains either, it happens to magic bursts (I think) and avatar blood pacts if you dismiss them too soon. It's nothing major, but it would be nice all the same and would help keep track of things in a heated fight (not to mention make testing a lot less stressful)
