  • Linkshell DKP systems. How does yours work?

    Simple thread, really, and I'm interested to see what kind of rules you have in place for gaining points and lotting.

    http://ex-online.com/ : That is our dkp site. We have a guest setting so that some private stuff is not shared, but mostly, everything is public. I think even points are.

    Basically, lotting is based on three things: points, wishlist, and activity level.

    Activity Level
    Maximum of 10 activity level, it is determined by two things:
    --Attendance to core events (Dynamis and Einherjar)
    --Attendance to extracurricular events (including camps, sea fights, KS99, ZNM, etc.)

    1. Failing to attend a core event will lower your activity level by one for 45 days.
    --------Every 45 days you are allotted 3 "marks." You may use these three marks on core events to protect your activity level. If you attempt to use more than three in a 45 day period, it will not be recognized. This way, you can have other plans during Dynamis (family, whatever) without totally screwing yourself over, but repeated misses will penalize you.
    2. Maximum activity level that can be gained by attending ONLY core events is 5.
    --------This ensures people actually spend time with other linkshell events and at HNM camps.
    3. "Regular" attendance events help you if you attend, but will lower your overall activity percentage if you do not attend.
    4. "Bonus" attendance events can only help your attendance but will not affect others.
    5. "Overall activity percentage" is used for wishlisting gil, and determining who is qualified for relic stage 5 funding.

    Points
    Points are simple, you gain points based on what events you attend. Naturally, some events are worth more, and multipliers are in place for latecomers, and whether or not we claim the HNM we are camping.

    Wishlist
    Wishlist is limited to 5 items per member. When you place an item on your wishlist, it takes seven days to clear. This is to prevent people from changing items on the fly, based on what events we are doing for that day, and basically lootwhoring and/or sniping from others who want things.

    Anything that no member has on their wishlist may be sold if there is a buyer present for it.

    Lotting
    Lotting is based on three things. Activity level, wishlist, and points. Wishlist has priority. If you have wishlist and have the points to lot, but not the activity level, you may not lot, and vice versa, UNLESS no one else wants it and there are no buyers.

    Every item in the database has an activity level rating and a point value. (If you poke around that link, you'll see what I mean) That is how lotting is determined. If certain requirements are not met, lotting is at the discretion of a leader. Usually, if the person does not have activity level, they are not allowed to lot. If the item will put them in negative, they are, and if others in the linkshell want it but do not have wishlist, those people may be able to lot over you. Meeting activity requirements is more important than points in this linkshell. But it is still possible to not be able to attend every little thing and still get some really nice stuff. (D. Chap, for example, is level 6 activity level.)

    Certain items have exceptions for lotting, which are clearly written in the rules. Also, job priority is not written anywhere, but people with 75 jobs have more priority than those leveling a job, and while you are allowed to wishlist an E body for your 37 WAR, (for example) you won't be able to lot it until everyone who is 73+ and wants it gets it first.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    That's basically it. I think it's one of the most fair systems for an HNMLS dkp that I've seen. I've seen a lot of linkshells just allow people with a ton of points to lootwhore it up, selling drops that are sellable and making a ton of gil, gearing up jobs they don't even have leveled, just because "they have the points." Other linkshells don't require you to show up to anything but still get rewarded, and other linkshells even give points bonuses to their leadership, basically ensuring the leadership gets everything they want first.
    I could go on and on about lootwhoring and shitty dkp systems, but that's not what this thread is about.
    Share your dkp system with me! Post links if you have them, or copy your ls rules on looting.
    I think this thread could be fascinating.
    I like that activity level thing. If gives new members who show up priority over old members who don't.
            Re: Linkshell DKP systems. How does yours work?
            Here's the point system from the Lunarians (haven't been a member in nearly 2 years)
            Point System
            Lunarians use a point system adopted from Everquest called "DKP" - Dragon Kill Points.
            Under this system, every raid attended is worth points, and every item costs points. This promotes a simple but nonetheless powerful "work for what you get" atmosphere.
            Everyone has one, and only one, "Main" job. This determines what items they get priority on. Members are allowed to lot for "secondary" job(s) according to lotting rules explained further in.
            The following section gives additional information as to how the DKP system works in detail:
            >> DKP Details
            1. Event Values and Attendance
            Event Values - Sanctioned Linkshell events have point values. 100% points are awarded for successful events, 200% for first time successes (first kill bonus), and 50% on failure if there was reasonable progress made and there had been no prior successes.
            Event Attendance - Members get points for the event as long as they attempt to attend as soon as they're able, and there's still a "reasonable" amount of time left. (Reasonable is defined by officer entering raid)
            Scouting - If members are asked to scout an HNM during an event they will get points for the events they miss.
            Simultaneous Events - If there are multiple events occuring simultaneously, all attending members will get points for all events.
            Point Transfers - Points are non-transferrable between members.
            Secondary Accounts (A) - Bringing a secondary account (a "bot") to a raid does not count as attending if the member's main account is doing something else such as xping or farming. Members can confirm with an officer beforehand if bot attendence is okay; if acceptable they will still be counted as attending.
            Secondary Accounts (B) - Another member being "botted" at a raid does not earn DKP. Bots may bid items for the account owner, as normal.
            2. Item Values and Lotting Guidelines
            Item Values - Every item dropped at every event (except AF-related items) has a DKP point value. Factors that are taken into consideration when determining value include: rarity, rare/ex vs. sellable, demand, and market value.
            Item Lotting - When an item drops during a raid officers will announce in linkshell that they are accepting bids. Interested members should say in linkshell that they are interested (bidding). Results will be determined by an officer according to lotting rules and the winner will be told to lot.
            Ties - In the event that two or more bidders are within 20 points of each other, it is considered a tie. Bidders will lot and highest lot wins the item. This applies for auctioned items on the site as well (/random).
            Value Changes - Items may have their prices changed from time to time, reflecting mistakes, updated drop rates or changes in the game itself. These changes will effect rare/ex item purchases retroactively. Officers will always try and avoid changes by starting out with a high value - it's much easier and less painful to reduce a price than to raise it.
            3. Lotting Priority
            Lotting (bidding) priority is listed below, 1 being top priority. The idea here is that main jobs get priority over secondary jobs, which in turn get priority over people lotting for HQs.
            1.) Main job + can equip + has required points
            2.) Alt job + can equip + has required points
            3.) Main job + can equip + does not have required points
            4.) Alt job + can equip + does not have required points
            5.) Main job + can equip + bidding for HQ
            6.) Alt job + can equip + bidding for HQ
            7.) Everyone else
            4. Officer Discretion
            On certain rare, elite, and highly desirable drops, officers may use their discretion - above and beyond DKP rankings - to ensure drops are handed to people that will most benefit the linkshell.
            5. Site and Forum Auctions
            High demand items (ex: Kirin's Osode, Herald's Gaiters) are auctioned on the forums. Any member may bid, providing sufficient points. The above lotting priorities take effect.
            6. Sellable Drops & Craftables
            Sellable Drops/Craftables - Sellable drops from standard, non-gilsplit raids (Kings, Sky, etc.) are collected and kept in the linkshell bank. These items are available by request to members for purchase via points or gil.
            Site/Forum Auctions - Banked craftables are auctioned on the forums.
            Price Reductions - Certain items will have their price reduced if the purchaser bids for use (intends to actually use/equip the item). This reduction applies only to point purchases.
            Purchase Priority - Point purchases will always have priority over gil purchases. If more than one person bids the person with more points will win.
            Negative Points - Craftable items may not be purchased if the purchase will take the user into negative points.
            7. Gil Withdraws
            Gil Withdraw - Members may withdrawl up to 3 million gil per week from the linkshell bank, at a ratio of 1 point / 10,000G, permitting sufficient bank standing.
            Market Adjustment - The above ratio is subject to change with the economy.
            Abuse - If officer's determine an individual is abusing the withdrawl system, the request will be rejected.
            8. Main Job Change
            Main job is changable by sending an officer a private message on the forums. Reasoning must be clear, as the request will be shown verbatim to all officers. Officers will discuss and vote on the request within one week. If the vote is negative, there is a one month waiting period before requesting again. If cleared, there is a -10% DKP charge and two week waiting period until the lotting change goes into effect. Multiple job changes by the same person are very unlikely to be accepted.
              Re: Linkshell DKP systems. How does yours work?
              I've never been in a high end ls, however, I have been in end game content in other games. With one exception its always been loot council on the better items, and on less desirables, or things that have dropped multiple times, it was always free roll for your main job/class/specc. The one time we actually used dkp it was zero sum, so you could bet what you had, but if you won it dropped to zero. The funny thing about that is I won a great deal of items on 1 and 2 point lots because the other healers where waiting for special/rarer items.
                  From what I've seen Zero Sum systems can be among the most fair. We always awarded a point for attendance, 2 for being on time and prepared. 1 if someone wasn't prepared and you had additional required items for them, and then depending on the bosses/events we were doing we awarded between 1 and 10 per, 5 for the most difficult bosses, 10 was a one time for the first time we ever down a boss, 1 was for the bosses that are pugable, and 3 was the average boss. We did however subtract a point if you did something incredibly stupid and cause a wipe.
                  If you win something, your dkp is reduced to zero, if you bet and lose, there is no change. We would, however give priority to mainjob/class/spec lots. So, if your normally a rdm and Im normally a whm, but I get to come to the event as a rdm, unless the other rdm's dont want it, in all likely hood I won't get it.
                    All these systems are based on full attendence to every event. So what if you join as a committed member but you tell them you can only play on MWF and during the rest of the week you can't join to do anything. Would you get booted for that?
                      In our case, probably wouldn't be accepted at all. We're very strict though as far as getting in, in the first place you have to be exceptionally well geared and skilled. Not being able to make core events would pretty much ensure that you wouldn't be able to get in.
                        Not all of them, the Zero Sum system I posted worked just fine for me and I only made it to about half of our raids, still got a fair amount of gear. I wasn't as geared as the rest, but thats fine. The thing about everyone constantly hording meant that some items where super easy to get, and most of the time everyone was near zero anyways.
                          I definitely couldn't be a part of an LS like Aksannyi's then. If I say I can only be available MWF then that's what that means. I have other priorities, and they don't include getting sweet gears.
                          EDIT: And honestly, even MWF seems excessive at this point.
                            No system here. There are 3 leaders and we decide who gets what.
                              Dimenional Death (Phoenix server) Dimensional Death HNMLS Forums
                              POINTS RULES
                              • This linkshell distributes most drops via a point system. When you attend events, you accrue points at the rate of 0.5 points per half-hour (or 1.0 point per hour.)
                              • Taking part in certain fights will give members bonus points. These apply if you're there for the fight at all; it doesn't matter whether you're in the party/alliance itself or simply standing on the side as an extra.
                              Points Accrual
                              • On any single event night, points are awarded as such:
                                • Points per hour: 1.0 point/hr (0.5/30 min.)
                                  • Gods:
                                    • Genbu: 0.5 points for a win, 0.25 point for a loss (per fight.)
                                    • Suzaku/Seiryu: 0.75 points for a win, 0.25 points for a loss (per fight.)
                                    • Byakko: 1.0 point for a win, 0.5 points for a loss (per fight.)
                                    • Kirin: 3 points for a win, 1.5 points for a loss (per fight.)
                              • Instanced Events:
                                • Limbus: 3 Points(Flat Rate)
                                  • Latecomers will recieve 1 point
                                  • Omega/Ultima: +1 point on top of Limbus
                                • Einherjar: 2 Points(Flat Rate)
                              • For Gods(and later, other HNMs), you will be awarded points for participating in the fight through points per hour *and* points for fighting the HNMs. This list will be updated as we assign point values to the various mobs.
                              • Please note, it is YOUR OWN responsibility to check that your points are accurate.
                              Leaving Early
                              If you find that you have to leave early, it is ESSENTIAL that you check out with the person in charge of attendance. If you don't know who is taking attendance for the night, simply ask and make sure that the correct person knows. Leaving without notification will net you ZERO points for the night.
                              This rule extends to prolonged AFK periods of 30 minutes or more. If "flash" AFKs become problematic, then you won't be credited with any points for the night. It doesn't take long to tell somebody that you have to go AFK and why, so please be considerate to your fellow linkshell members.
                              If, however, you are disconnected due to power outage, medical emergencies, etc, then please let us know after the fact. After each event night, the list of points should be posted, each containing who was there and for how long. Use these threads to explain your absence or bring up mistakes in point allocation. MAKE NOTE that doing so doesn't guarantee partial compensation! If we made a mistake, then we'll fix it, but it's not something to be abused. If sudden disappearances are a recurring problem, then there's a good chance you'll go home for the night empty-handed.
                              EXTRA CREDIT
                              You must check in with the leaders when you start and when you stop. You must also farm with your Linkshell equipped.
                              Additionally, extra credit will only be given when previously cleared by a leader; don't run off and set a mule to get a ToD on your own and expect to be awarded for the full (if any) time's worth of points. An example of properly obtaining extra credit would be scouting early in sky for NMs that are up that we could rush to for pop items. Again, credit will only be given with a leader's prior consent.
                              0.5 points will be accredited per NM pop item farmed or purchased on personal time. The eligibility for credit on each of these items depends on their tradability:
                              • Rare/EX or EX items: credit will be given when the pop item is USED.
                              • Rare items: credit may be immediately redeemed for handing the first item in to a leader. Each additional item will be traded in for credit when used or handed to another leader, whichever comes first.
                              • Freely-tradable items: items may be redeemed for immediate credit by handing these over to a leader.
                              God pop items are an exception to the rule and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
                              Bird NMs: Bird NMs refer, specifically, to Roc and Simurgh. Attendance can be taken by any member, including time spent and if the NMs are fought. Point accrual will be based on normal points-per-hour, and .5 points for killing the NM. Points and attendance lists must be PM'd to a leader for approval. Upon approval, points will be posted by the leaders on the points forums and added to the DKP listing.
                              Recruitment Getting new members into the linkshell is important for increasing our numbers, letting us take on greater challenges. For each member you get into the linkshell who stays past their trial period you will be awarded 2 points.
                              Warnings
                              • 1st Tier -- Verbal Warning(noted as a 0 point adjustment on DKP)
                              • 2nd Tier-- Verbal Warning + 2 point deduction
                              • 3rd Tier -- Verbal Warning + 5 point deduction + removal of lotting rights on all items(freelot or bought with points) for 2 weeks.
                              • 4th Tier -- Removal from Linkshell.
                              "Warnable" offenses include, but are not limited to:
                              • Switching Linkshells mid-run
                              • Disrespecting a leader, or another member
                              • Causing a disruption
                              • Misrepresentation of the Linkshell(making Dimensional Death look "bad" in the public eye)
                              • Harassing other linkshells
                              Point Updates & Tracking
                              Points are tracked using a schema called DKP. You can find the points listing here: Dimensional Death Points: Member Standings
                              DKP tracks everything from points gained, points adjusted due to leaving early or showing up late, what items you get, how many points you lose when you get an item, and how points adjusted from warnings or extra credit. Clicking on a member's name gives a detailed history. If you find any credits or penalties to be in error, please reply in the event's point thread, if available, simply make a new thread.
                              ATTENDANCE
                              If you are logged on and have access to the zone where the night's event is taking place, then you are expected to attend. Failing to attend may result in docked points and warnings given, depending on the leaders' decision. Just because you may have item that an NM drops, it doesn't mean that you're exempt from helping others and, in turn, helping the linkshell as a whole.
                              If you are going to be away for an extended period of time (we're talking over a week here,) please post a thread under the forum topic "The Dusty Trail" Doing so lets us know that you've got more pressing matters and simply aren't abandoning the shell. Your points will be saved and no negative marks will be held against you in the meantime. Also, it lets us know that we'll have to fill the gaps left on our events, so it benefits everyone to tell us.
                              As is the case with point discrepancies, exceptions will be made for people with actual real-life problems that are simply unable to log on. If you return and find your points frozen or wiped, just explain the situation to us and the leaders will discuss restoring your stored points.
                              "Idle" status
                              One Month
                              If a member is gone or inactive for more than a month without posting on the forums and informing the linkshell, they will moved to "Inactive/Status Unknown" until they return to events regularly. They will receive a verbal warning about posting on the forums for long absences.
                              Two Months
                              If a member is gone or inactive for more than two months without informing the linkshell, then they are subject to having their points reduced by half, and being reset to a 4 run trial period. If you are not passed this 4-run trial status by the end of the month, then they'd be subject to the Three Months rule.
                              Three Months
                              At the point that a member has been marked as inactive for 3 monhts, then they will lose 3/4 of their points and be reset to Trial Member status for 7 runs.
                              Four Months
                              If a member is considered "inactive" for more than 4 months, their points will be forfeit completely and they will be reset to Trial Member Status.
                              As will all attendance issues, if something comes up(such as Tang's disappearance in early 2008 in which he did not come back until the summer), informing the leaders via the forums can get the "inactive" status lifted and points refunded. This is not to be abused. If you disappear for two months, come back, tell us your story, and then disappear for two months, you will lose points and member status as noted above.
                              Idle Trial Members
                              If a Trial Member cannot fulfill the 7 run minimum to leave trial member status within month and a half, a warning will be issued with a 10 point deduction(this can go into negative points!). The member will enter a sort of "deliquent" phase, where the Trial period "resets" or gets 3 more runs tacked to the end. This will stack no higher than 7 at one time.
                              LIMBUS RULES
                              Limbus is an "optional" event. However, there are enough people in the linkshell now with sea access that it can be expected to be a normal event.
                              Gather Together/Attendance
                              • Gather together time is now scheduled at 7:30(Sunday)/6:30(Thursday).
                              • If there are not enough people for a run at 8EST(Sunday)/7EST(Thursday) then run will be canceled and those who were on time will recieve 2 points.
                              • If you arrive after the "Leave time"(8/7EST) then you will be left behind.
                              Points
                              • 3 points for those who are on time
                              • 1 point for being late
                              Currency Split:
                              • Currency will be split evenly among the members on the run who are on time.
                              • If you arrive late for Limbus(after gather time, before leave time) you will recieve ONE Ancient Beastcoin from the overall drops. The rest will be split among those who were on time.
                              • Extra coins will now be /randomed off among the members who are on time. You cannot recieve more than one coin from a round of /randoms.
                              AF+1 and Crafting Items
                              AF+1 items are all handled on a "lot it if you can use it" basis. If no one in the group can use it, it is considered freelot. If it is a crafting item, it is also freelot. Item type will be noted in party chat by a leader for those who do not know what they are.
                              Omega/Ultima Items
                              In Limbus, there are many different items that could drop, depending on the zone. AF+1 items are "lot it if you can use it." In other words, if you have a job that's high enough to wear the AF+1, you can lot it. In the case that there is no one who wants to lot on it, then it's total freelot.
                              Colored Chips that drop from the various zones are leader-lot only.
                              Omega and Ultima gear items cost a static point cost. Lotting rules for Homam/Nashira sets are as follows:
                              Every member in the linkshell will submit a list of ALL TEN(10) pieces of Omega/Ultima gear to a leader. This list is the order in which you rate the pieces. An example of one of these lists is:
                              Randomlsmember: H. Legs(1), H. Head(2), N. Legs(3), ... ... H.Feet(9), N.Head(10)
                              Upon recieving their #1 item, then they will move on to their 2, then 3, etc. You can not get your items out of your order set. The member with the most points will get the item. Also, you MUST have a job that can wear the piece you want to be considered to get it. This includes job and level.
                              Ex: Tang has 200 points, Zenny has 150 points, both want Homam body as their #1. Tang will recieve the item over Zenny.
                              For information on how many points each piece costs, please check the Limbus page under Item Drops and Rankings.
                              GETTING ITEMS
                              Getting items is simple. You only need to be able to use the item, and have more points saved than other people lotting on it. See the Points section of the rules for an explanation on point accrual.
                              Whenever you gain an item, your points may decrease according to the chart below:
                              • Freelot -- These items are freelot to anyone who can use them. In the case of an item being a money item, it is freelot to all.
                              • Rank 1 -- 10% of current Points
                              • Rank 2 -- 25% of current Points
                              • Rank 3 -- 50% of current Points
                              • Rank 4 -- 75% of current Points
                              • Rank 5 -- 90% of current Points
                              • Rank 6 -- 100% of current Points
                              Poppable NMs
                              The items dropped from these NMs, not counting Gods, are considered Rank 1 items, with a "LIYCUI (lot if you can use it)" rule. For example, only 75WHM/BLM/BRD/SMN/PUP/SCH may lot on Rostrum Pumps. If, however, we end up spawning more NMs than are needed, then others may have a chance to lot, with priority given to those whose jobs are closest to using said items.
                              ZNMs
                              The pop item holder can pop the NM and choose ONE item of the possible drops. This decision must be made before the NM is popped, and they cannot change their mind once the NM is popped. Once the items drop, then points will be awarded/deducted as per the following example.
                              • Example:Chiama holds the pop item for Lil' Apkallu. Of the two possible drops, Chiama wants the Hakke Habaki. If the Hakke Habaki drop, then Chiama will be able to lot on them for no points lost or gained from the pop item. If the other item drops, then Chiama will gain 2 points for providing the pop item, and then item will be treated as a Freelot, with the winner spending 10% of their points.
                              New / Trial Members
                              All new linkshell members start as trial members. These members still gain points as normal and are expected to attend events as normal members are, but their lotting privileges are restricted. No trial member may lot on ranked items (god pieces, abjurations, etc) unless said items drop to freelot status. Abjuration costs will not be paid by the linkshell bank on any trial member abjurations. In the event of poppable NMs, then trial members may be allowed to lot on drops only after all permanent linkshell members present that want the item have had gotten their items. To summarize: regular linkshell members have priority over trial members for drops.
                              Trial members must wait until their trial period has passed before they may request events. That is not to say that they can't ask people to help if they find an nm up or work on missions, etc; everyone's still here to help and have fun.
                              A new linkshell member is considered a trial member for their first seven linkshell events. After that, they become a privileged member and all normal lotting/request rules apply.
                              Abjurations
                              If you receive a piece of Abjuration gear, the Linkshell Bank will pay up to half of the Cursed item. This DOES NOT include Cursed Gear -1. If you want -1, you must pay for that on your own. Also, please note that if you buy the cursed item on your own(without waiting for funding assistance from the linkshell bank), you are not entitled to be reimbursed half of the cost of the item. This means if you want the bank to cover half the cost of your item, you must wait for the bank to buy the item for you.
                              If you get an Abjuration via Freelotting, the cost of the cursed item will NOT be covered by the Linkshell Bank.
                              SENIORITY PRIVILEGES
                              HNM Requesting
                              (WORK IN PROGRESS) ToD HNMs may be requested by any linkshell member who has been in the linkshell for ___ months or has attended __ events. The member wishing to request the fight must obtain the ToD and post it on the forum. It will be the decision of the leadership, based on scheduling, whether or not to attempt the HNM.
                              Lotting rights will be as follows:
                              • The member requesting the fight will have first rights to the item should it drop.
                              • Subsequent battles based on ToD obtained by the LS at large will defer to standard item lotting rules (see lotting section.)
                              • Should several members obtain a ToD together, first lotting rights will be based on points if there's no preference of order from members that worked to get the ToD. In the event of a points tie, a /random will be used to determine the lotter.
                              Points Rules
                              You have a chance to earn at most 4 points per run. Points are broken down as follows:
                              • 1 point for gathering on time: You will get one point for gathering together at the determined gather time. If you are not IN THE ZONE(or online waiting for job assignment) at 7/8 EST, then you will not get credit for this.
                              • 1 point run time: You will get one point for staying for at least an hour and a half(for non-dreamland zone). If you leave before this point in the run, you will not get credit for this.
                              • 1 point boss clear: You will get one point for beating the zone boss. In the case that there is a wipe and we do not clear the boss, or you leave before the boss is defeated, you will not get credit for this.
                              • 1 point finish: You will get one point for staying in the zone until the hourglass expires(or we finish for the night). If you leave before this time, then you will not get credit for this.
                              • IF YOU ARE LOTTING FOR CURRENCY: In order to get currency, you MUST stay around until the end of the run to recieve your currency. If you are lotting Currency for the night, then you will only be awarded with 2 points. If you lose a point(coming late), then you will be awarded 0 points for the night(on top of your currency). There are few exceptions for leaving earlier that MUST be cleared with a leader first, however you will recieve a drop penalty of 50-75% of the currency split overall.
                              Points Cap
                              At 200 Points, you will hit a "Points Cap" and no longer be able to accrue any more points. At this point, you are eligible for the "PayOut" option. For more details, please check the "PayOut" section.
                              Leaving Early
                              If you find that you have to leave early, it is ESSENTIAL that you check out with the person in charge of attendance. If you don't know who is taking attendance for the night, simply ask and make sure that the correct person knows. Leaving without notification will net you ZERO points for the night.
                              This rule extends to prolonged AFK periods of 30 minutes or more. If "flash" AFKs become problematic, then you won't be credited for the run that night. It doesn't take long to tell somebody that you have to go AFK and why, so please be considerate to your fellow linkshell members.
                              If, however, you are disconnected due to power outage, medical emergencies, etc, then please let us know after the fact. After each event night, the list of points should be posted, each containing who was there and for how long. Use these threads to explain your absence or bring up mistakes in point allocation. MAKE NOTE that doing so doesn't guarantee partial compensation! If we made a mistake, then we'll fix it, but it's not something to be abused. If sudden disappearances are a recurring problem, then there's a good chance you'll go home for the night empty-handed.
                              Setting Comments
                              Before each run, you will need to set your comments in order to declare what you're lotting for the night. Settings are as follows:
                              • Yellow(Others) = AF -- please note which AF you want in your comment. Examples: "WHM" "Blue Mage." "MONKGLOVESMONKGLOVESMONKGLOVES"
                              • Red(Mission)= Currency -- You will get your currency split at the END of the run. Please do not lot on it during the run!
                              • White(Battlefield) = Points -- You will be credited with points based on being on time, and how long you were there for the run
                              • Purple(Item) = Mule -- Mule characters are not eligible for points or gear. If you have a mule in the zone, you must set this comment, as well as the name of the person in control of the mule.
                              • Green(EXP Party) = PayOut(Senior Members only)
                              Member "Rank"
                              • Trial Member = Any Member under 5 runs. As a Trial Member, you are not eligible for Currency. The only thing you're eligible to choose are "Points" and "Relic."
                              • Member = Any member over 5 runs. These members have Currency lotting rights, on top of AF and Points.
                              • Senior Member = Any member over 50 Runs that has also reached the Point Cap at least once. Any Senior Member at the point cap of 200 points(no sooner than this) has the option of PayOut. See the PayOut section for more details.
                              GETTING RELIC AND ITEMS
                              Relic
                              Relic points costs are as follows:
                              • 1/2 for city + Glacier
                              • 3/4 for Xarc
                              • 1/4 for Dreamland(Acc)
                              • Lot if you have the NQ for Relic(-1s)
                              • Shadow Items(TBD)
                              DO NOT LOT ON RELIC WHEN IT DROPS. Your name will be called and you will be told to lot. The "pecking order" is as follows:
                              • Most Points(with comment set and job 70+)
                              • Most Points(if comment is set to points/willing to forfeit currency and job 70+)
                              • Most Points(offered for 1/4 points if job is not yet 70+)
                              • Freelot -- If you lot on a piece of relic on freelot and win, and have the job 70+, you will spend 1/2 points(this is to ensure no one abuses the freelot system). If you were lotting currency, you will lose your currency split for that run as well.
                              Currency
                              Currency will be distributed as follows:
                              100 pieces will be sold back to serious upgraders after each run. You can only buy ONE 100 piece per run. The prices for them are(the set prices are subject to change. They are roughly 1/2 "street price"):
                              • Montiont Silverpieces: 500,000 gil
                              • Lungo-Nango Jadeshells:400,000 gil
                              • 100 Byne Bills: 300,000 gil
                              If there are no buyers for 100 pieces, then they will then be sold by the LS Bank at street value to help fund the next runs. PLEASE NOTE: Wootz Ores are also bank-lot items, sold to help reduce the cost of the next run. In order to keep runs free, we need to sell Wootz Ores and 100 pieces to keep money on the bank.
                              Single pieces will be lotted on by leaders only. Splits for a single person are capped at 30 currency.If the linkshell bank is not low on funds, the extra single piece currency will now be /randomed off among the members who are on time and had Currency set as their comment. You cannot recieve more than one currency from a round of /randoms.
                              Payout
                              Senior Members have the option to choose a "PayOut" option. In order to be eligible for PayOut, you must have reached the Points Cap, and be over 50 runs. The way PayOut works is as follows:
                              • Currency will be split among currency lotters, as per usual(Half to Bank, half to Lotters).
                              • Bank will sell its half of the currency, and those who lotted PayOut will be alloted up to 50k gil at the start of the next run.
                              • All currency singles, and 100 pieces after the first will be included in the split.
                              • If you win a piece of Relic on Freelot, you forfeit your PayOut for the night.
                              • If you spent 1/4 of your points on a piece of Relic, you forfeit your PayOut for the night.
                              • If you leave early, you will lose a portion of your PayOut proportional to how much of the run you miss.(Ex: If you stay for 1/2 the run, you'll only receive 1/2 the total payout.)
