does FFXI fee accept Mastercard? SE wants our money, right?

I think my desperation to play without depending on family credit card made me do crazy things.

I went to People's Bank and signed up for a checking account with a debit card, but it's only Mastercard, not Visa.
but FFXI accepts Mastercard, right? I didn't read any thread that says it does not.

well the thing is, I put $30 into that account and they said the card will be mailed NEXT WEEK! waaaaaah! so much waiting!
so now I'm asking a relative to borrow their debit card but they have no money in the bank until 1 or 2 days! so this boring day continues with so much effort put into it but still no green light to play FFXI again..........sigh.........

but could someone confirm if FFXI accepts Mastercard debit cards? I already have $30 in there so it should be okay, but I have to wait about a week to receive it in the mail (and hopefully the neightbors don't steal the mail like last time...)

I'm too scared to ask my other relative to I had been borrowing their credit card the past month to play FFXI, they are already having moeny trouble as it is, so I guess I'll just have to wait until my other relative has money in the bank. I told them I would cancel the COntent ID this month, so they don't get charged next month, and by then, I would use my own debit card to pay for next month.

sigh........but ya I'm worried if they accept mastercard or not. because i they don't I'll have to go aaaall the way back to pull my money out of that. and the hardest part is that the desk people are too polite, it would feel bad cancelling a checking account/service. -_-;

Seeing as that's exactly what I've been using for the past 5 years to play this game, yes, yes they do accept Debit Mastercard.

Yes. And for your information practically every business/company accepts mastercard.

If only they took Discover Card. This is the ONLY monthly billing that I have on my otherwise little-used Visa card.

They lure you in with their niceness and then when you come up to cancel they give you the sob story about how banks aren't doing well and then you decide to keep the account and walk out crying.

LOL! Ya but it sure is hard sometimes. I'll just throw a napkin off the table if I end up cancelling the checking account/debit card and the desk people's kidness make me feel sad afterwards. >.< I just say that because it's strange, people's bank seems to say something about being charged a fee after 6 months of having the card or something. but a relative of mine says a bank shouldn't charge people fees for a debit card, maybe that's just for the ATM service?



well anyways thanks for the news, it's great they accept mastercard, so IF a relative of mine is unable to help me get back on FFXI by this weekend, I should get on as soon as my debit card arrives next thursday..........sigh...............it's just so boring without having FFXI to play........ sniff..... maybe I'll do a FFXII re-marathon in the meantime...aw it's just not the same........ >.<

I just say that because it's strange, people's bank seems to say something about being charged a fee after 6 months of having the card or something. but a relative of mine says a bank shouldn't charge people fees for a debit card, maybe that's just for the ATM service?

Maybe they tack on a semi annual fee if you have a 0 balance or something. You might want to look into that. I know my credit union doesn't charge any fees.

Wow life is so boring when I can't login to an MMO to spend all my hours! I'm having a hard time coping with this concept of "reality!" It's a bad joke and I don't get it. zomg wtf rolfcoptr.
