Summons in the game....(not related to smn)(spoilers perhaps)

I don't have WoTG yet, but I know alexander and odin are in it. And I see stuff with Ixion now too. So atomos too?

I seen a thing that looks like him in Sarutaba. A lil Statute, is that the atomos? Are we talking ffix atomos?

so what summons from past games are in the game?

I know the normal summons the summoner gets, and I know diablos has an actual place in the storyline. Does fenrir?

I know you can fight bahamut. I seen picks of alexander and odin, can you fight them?

Atomos? Ixion you can fight as i've seen tons of his drops I'm assuming(ixion cloak/horn).

Anyone else? Gilgamesh is in norg, what about caitsith?


Don't bust out any story for me, if you do, please do so in spoiler mode. Like killing odin and alexander or anything, but simply a "Yes, you can fight them and they are f'n hard" works, lol.

The statuettes you see are the Cavernous Maw's that transfer you into Vanadiel of the past, as far as Atomos, there does seem to be some reference to him in the initial cut-scenes of WotG.

Fenrir was the forbidden summon that was called upon by one of the Tarutaru leaders that helped save Windurst when it was being invaded by the beastmen.

Gilgamesh is the leader of the pirates from Norg, and thats really all he is.....

Dunno about Alexander, but I know Odin you do fight him in the final chamber of Einherjar.

Alexander plays a massive role in the Treasures of Aht Urhgan storyline.

Yes you fight him and he's f'ng hard. But one of the most enjoyable battles I've ever done.

Atomos will play a larger role in WotG in the missions that are yet to be released. From what we've seen so far of the storyline and also of one of the areas in WotG that we haven't been given access to, there will be something major involving Atomos later on.

Cait Sith makes an appearance in nearly every single major WotG cutscene.

Yeah but I meant that its the name of a summon, so obviously he's not in the game elsewhere.

Yes you fight Alexander but he's not quite like what you are imagining. The cut scenes are awesome btw.

What he looks like.

Alexander looks like a big grey/black/purpleish mech. He's not as big as I expected him to be. He's about double the size of a large elvaan in height and very wide. I was expecting something larger actually.

As for Bahamut (v2), its always an impressive sight for me. We do it often but the fight is over so damn quick its not funny, 30 seconds and done. LOL I maybe have to rip off one cure.

Ixion is also easy imo. But I've been doing this a long time so I'm surrounded with capable well equipped players.

The real Alexander is actually massive, as in the entire Alzadaal Undersea Ruins *is* Alexander.

The version that you fight is his control center, kind of like a pupper that the ruins mimics. And he's not exactly what you would call "so small", he's still quite large.
