Transfering macros + config saves over to xbox 360?

Anyone know how to do this, and no, the search function turn me down no topics on this.

I remember someone said you can backup macro into FFXI server, but he/she said this is changed. I still have no idea how it works so far.

If not, i been planning to buy a datel Xport (let you access xbox 360 hard drive) for awhile, i was thinking if the PC macros will work on xbox 360, anyone tried that ?

(btw i am not lazy... it is just i used all 20 pages of bookmark times 2 characters...Don't want to type all that in.)

This was information posted on POL in mid-December 2007 update before there release WotG, the information should still be listed in those update notes.

IDK what the controls are on the xbox controller, but on a keyboard, ctrl+shift+alt+b will backup macros and config files, and ctrl+shift+alt+r will download them from the server to your computer/xbox.

Search it in the help menu.. it's there for Keyboard, PS2 and 360 Controller. I just transferred my macro's from PC to 360

On PS2, L1+L3 saves, R1+R3 loads. L3/R3 means to push down the analog stick. 360 is probably very similar. And the keyboard method should work too.

I think Ctrl-Alt-Shift-B/R/D works on anything with a keyboard attached, regardless of platform. No need to remember esoteric controller combos when you can always rock the CAS-BRD.

I can confirm Keyboard method does work on both PS2 and 360 versions. And you use a keyboard in FFXI to chat already, right? NP.

Saving Macros to the ServerAt the character selection screen, highlight a character and press the following buttons/keys and choose the slot in which you want to save the configuration information for the highlighted character.

PlayStation 2: L1 button + L3 button
XBOX 360: LB + left stick button
PC/Keyboard: Shift + Alt + Ctrl + B
Loading Macros from the ServerBring up the configuration file load screen by pressing the following buttons/keys at the character selection screen, and choose the slot from which you wish to load.

PlayStation 2: R1 button + R3 button
XBOX 360: RB + right stick button
PC/Keyboard: Shift + Alt + Ctrl + R
Deleting Macros from the ServerBring up the configuration file deletion screen by pressing the following buttons/keys at the character selection screen. Confirm deletion to restore default settings for the currently highlighted character.
