What is a very highly populated server, cuse I am on unicorn right now, and it is very thin in terms of population, so does anyone know one?

Will someone explain to me the allure of jumping servers to be on the "most populated" server? I just don't understand what these people see in moving to a server where they compete with tons of people for evvverything.

The allure is that they think they are going to have more people to exp with so it will be easier to get parties. The fact that they forget is that most of that population is people in endgame so, in fact, there aren't more people to exp with. Most people that have made it to an endgame ls also try to level with friends/lsmates only if they decide to level another job. Then top it off with trying to camp lower level NM's for equips that your job might need and competing with an assload of other people that thought server hopping would mean more exp parties too aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand..........you usually end up hopping to a less populated server and SE makes even more money.

You'll have to camp NMs at some point or another. Mages need their Moldavite Earrings, PLDs and RDMs need their Joyeuse, THFs need their Sirocco Kukris, MNKs need their belts, etc.

It's not just NMs though. Anything where crowding and competition is not good is not going to be cool.
