ffxi on xbox 360 without buying the disc?

I just recently brought an xbox 360 pro because it was only 200. so i decide i want to play ffxi on it.

But how? i already have 2 account, i do have a xbox WoTG disc but i don't have rest of them (i used it to give WOTG to one of my account).

Do i have to buy the 2008 collection to play (seriously, i already have 4 accounts while the 4th one still not being used) ? Or is there another way to play without the disc?

P.S. I think i posted on the wrong part...maybe someone can move this to FAQ ?.

(1) The "Pro" isn't $199, the Arcade Model is. The Arcade Model has no HDD whatsoever, so it would be physically impossible to play FFXI on it. If there was a price drop on the Pro model recently, news to me, but even the Pro Model sucks since its only a 20 gig HDD, FFXI would eat the lionshare of the HDD and leave you with little room for other downloadable content you could get of Xbox Live.

(2) Yes, you have to buy the disc for the 360 version, too. Its not available for download. It would be a huge DL if it was.

It's 60GB. Plenty of space for a FFXI install.

Find someone to borrow the discs from, but yea, you need to go buy a HDD to install FFXI on. I just bit it and bought the Vana2008 Package.
And yea, it does take a chunk out of my 20Gig HDD, I'll get a 60/120 when I find a deal on one

I believe you need the disk in the 360 to play the game.

Doesn't matter what disc you use to play but you need all parts of the game installed that you want to use.

Since you ahve WotG, you can use that disc to play but see if you can find a friend's FFXI disc to install the rest.

If not...its like what? $20 new?
