There's one area that's becoming quite the problem ... Qufim. Add level sync to FoV and it being THE spot for 20+, and you get far too many people crammed in. A number of them are higher-levels, soloing their 9 crabs and a worm, too...

Soloers can't sync, so they'll level out of it and be forced to leave. In any case, you have the option of going somewhere else, or (if you're 25+) not joining sync parties in Qufim and going somewhere closer to your actual level.

Campsitarus lists a Carpenter's Landing camp and past Lycopodiums at traditional Qufim levels, plus Korroloka crabs and fish at 23-25, and the fairly well known Sauromugue beetle camp (and of course the giants and gobs inside Delkfutt's). That should be plenty of camps that they aren't *all* crowded at once. If you're not willing to consider going somewhere other than Qufim, you really have no right to complain when others are also unwilling to go somewhere other than Qufim.

Low-manning exp is also an option in Signet areas after the update that changed exp multipliers for low-man parties with Signet (does anyone know if the altered multipliers also apply to Sigil?) - just go after mobs a few levels lower than you would in a 6-man. (This is highly unconventional and may be best done in a party of LS members or friends.)

You also gotta remember, Level Sync was introduced as a way for high level players to PT with their newer, low level friends; it was never REALLY meant to be used to take a job from 10-75. Reason for this (as im sure yall know) is that most jobs remain pretty similar until about 50+ which is where they start to branch out. DDs start going insane, mages get their elemental staves, so on and so forth. So, in order to really learn your trade, you have no choice BUT to PT in a higher level camp LOL. Dont get me wrong, I love syncing down to 15 on my PLD to help my wife lvl her subs for DRG and BLM, but i mainly do it till she is in range of another job I ACTUALLY want to lvl to say 37 or 75, know what I mean?

All BS aside, Level Sync is a fun tool to use with friends, but like any drug, its best used with moderation. ^^b

There are some lower limits I've set on myself based on spells and skills and such
RDM 42 (refresh and convert, I hate having to play RDM without them anymore)
WHM 33 (ReRaise, duh)
BRD 25 (Ballad)
BLM 29 (Escape)

I pretty much wont go into a level sync prty below those levels.

Oh and a big shout out to the JP Prty I had last night that got me from BRD 25 - 34 in 6 hours!! Woot!

If there's no restriction, it's not as fun and challenging. People can just use high lvl characters to level up in low level areas like the dunes, etc. There should be like 20 lvl limit from lowest to highest lvl in a party before using level sync. A lvl 74 shouldn't sync with a lvl 10.

Level synch is the most fun feature SE has yet to add to this game!

Once, I was building a dunes pt for a friend. We invited a lvl 26 drg friend of mine who said "Mind if I switch to drk?" He dinged 60 on his favorite job :D

Another time, I was helping the same friend in the jungles. I brought my 75 Red mage, dinged 2 merits, and was able to pt with her!

Level synch has done a lot to relax party building in this game. Now, just about anybody can party with just about anybody! You can actually play with your FRIENDS, even if your levels are different... but abuse it, and you'll have to go skillup after, lol!

The restrictions already added to it are more than enough, imo.
