If I have ToA on PC but not PS2 and my toon is in Whitegate?

    If I have ToA on PC but not PS2 and my toon is in Whitegate?

    What happens if I try to log on my PS2?

    This topic may belong in the returning players sections, sorry, but I'm coming back using my PS2 (Warhammer melted my PCs GPU T_T) and there's a good chance my characters are in whitegate, but I only have CoP on my PS2...

    Does that mean I won't be able to access them until I upgrade my PS2 version? Or do I just pop in Mhaura (or is Selbina... can't remember). Does anyone even know what I'm talking about? Does anyone know where my USB keyboard is?

    I guess I'll know the answer in 138 hours when it's done updating, but thought I'd take a stab on teh forums.

    You won't have ToA on your PS2, because the data for the areas is not there.

      So does that mean I won't be able to log on to my characters that are in Whitegate? Or does it just warp them to the nearest non-ToA area? Wishful thinking?

        Probably won't be able to access them, I'd think. You may want to consult a GM about your problem otherwise.

          no you wont beable to log in on the PS2 if they are a job/in an area for an expansion you dont have installed on the PS2

            Please don't start this debate again. If you don't like it, then ignore it. There is no reason to comment like this. People have been calling their characters "toons" for a long ass time in MMO's and theres not a damn thing wrong with it.

                    The question had already been answered so why answer it again? Oh wait, so you could insult the op. I'll say it again, there's no need for comments like that. If you don't like it and want to state that then "I really dislike the term toons." would be more appropriate.

                      Not to really make this worse or anything, but you seem to be one of the only people who is really bothered by the "toon" thing. It's not a big deal. It's like people up north calling sodas "pop." Sounds a bit dumb, but it's not hurting anybody.

                        I remember when my niece was a little girl around 7-8 I kept saying pop and she had no clue what I was talking about. So we got into a arguement about it, and when she was little we had many arguements about nothing lol. I said "What do you call Coke-a-Cola?" she replied "Soda." Then I figured the whole thing out. The funny thing was she wasn't from the south, but her mom's side of the family was. It kinda shocked me that my brother hadn't taught her about pop but then too he mainly only drinks Kool-Aid.

                            If you try and log in with your character in Whitegate but without having ToAU installed, SE will flag your account as hacked and delete your character and black list your credit card number.

                            Alternatively, it'll just say that you can't log in because you don't have the appropriate expansion pack installed.

                              This is the only grip I have. At least for now.
