I decided to finally start farming Zeni today. I've never participated in Pankration before, so I had to start there. I purchased some gold coins to convert into Jetton, and bought myself a Soultrapper 2000 and a stack of high speed soul plates. I managed to snap some shots of VT Wamoura Princes, and turned one of them into a Soul Reflector.
I've got a comfortable amount of gil, so I could simply buy imperial currency to convert into Jetton. But I don't want to waste my gil if I can effectively raise Jetton through Pankration without spending too much time.
I think I have a plan for getting a decent amount of Jetton just through Pankration. So now I'm trying to figure out how not to waste the Jetton that I raise. I'm planning on sticking with the Soultrapper 2000 over the plain Soultrapper, since it has 4 times as many charges and half the cool down time. But I'm not sure whether the high speed soul plates are worth the 500 Jetton per stack.
Does anyone know the difference between the plain soul plates and high speed soul plates? Do the high speed soul plates have higher success rates for capturing images? Is it a noticeable enough improvement that I should continue to invest in high speed ones? Or should I just save the Jetton and load up on the cheap blank soul plates?

get a monster for the fights, go to the diablo cage and you'll get 100 jetotns per match when you loose, and the area is pretty empty usually so you can just watch some tv or do something and check up and re-register for a new match every 5-10min or however long it takes you, you can easily make more than enough jettons to last you in an hour or two.
