I have been really curious about this, so I decided that maybe I should ask you guys about it.
It is known that Zeni points are needed for the Zeni Notorious monsters. The way to obtain Zeni points is by trading a Soul plate with the image a monster to the appropriate NPC, for which he would reward you with a certain amount of points.
The numbers below are hypothetical:
If you found someone selling a soul plate in their bazaar, for which you would hypothetically receive 200 Zeni points.
The price, let's say was around 2,000 gil. (10g per point)
Would you buy it? Or would you rather just go and hunt the monsters down yourself? (I have learned that a decent challenge slime gives around 60-80 zeni points or somewhere around that)
And, what would be the max price you'd pay for a certain amount of points?
How about a monster that gave 1000 Zeni points, and was priced at 10,000g.
