Heh, poor Paladins. I can just see Armando's facepalm at the thought of getting "Fast Blade 3.0." Us Red Mages just got our version of Swift Blade with a "chance" of an apparently nifty effect to boot (magical equivalent of Shield Break?), so I really shouldn't complain.

Commander's set sexy and all the COR AF+1 is useful... except for the hands and legs... again.

All worthy upgrades, that barbut looks nice too.

How do you figure? The standard MAcc bonus is embarassing compared to an NQ staff. MAB gives marginally better results than with an HQ staff, but again, without the accuracy Scholar so desperately needs. The enmity is ok, but I can't remember the last time I was in danger with hate on SCH. The thing that really gives me the red-ass is I have to have the right weather up. That not only negates SCH's MP and cast-time efficiency bonus, it actually penalizes them.

Unless Aftermath lasts two hours and really ups the stats, Tupsimati looks to be a waste of time and a status piece only.

And that weapon skill? Reduces MAB? How

BTW, replace Enmity-20 with Enhances Elem. Seal, and you have the BLM Mystic. Without the weather requirement. Nicely done Square-Enix, nicely done.

Doesn't seem to be anything useful for WHM which makes me feel pretty "meh" about the whole thing. I mean not even Yagrush seems worth it considering that DNC and SCH can AoE status cure pretty much whenever they feel like it.

Nice to see that the BLU, PUP and COR Relic doesn't disappoint though. BLU's is just plain awesome.

                              Question:

Do I need to have highest assault rank to get the new WS?

I've never done anything in Nyzul/Eihenhar/Salvage/etc. so I have no idea about what exactly you need to do to get the weapons and weaponskill.

I'm pretty sure you still need to obtain the nyzul weapon and turn it in (which for the mythic weapon quest requires captain rank), so my guess is yes. You probably don't have to re-record all your assault info though like you do for the mythic weapons quest.
