I hope this helps you rest a bit easier. It sucks it takes so long, but they really don't forget you.

Re: Is it time to quit?

Sadly no, it's like the drama on Farscape.

The reason why was because of the roll back period was expired on his account. In other words, they offerd him to roll the account back to 90 days, and that's 93 days too short to be effecitive. We finaly had to tell the GM, who didn't seem to understand us very well, to get us a Super GM.

The only thing he was able to do for us was transport his characters to the right servers, and allowed him to change the names. BUT of course they can't gaurentee that he could get all his oringal names back. Out of the three he had, 1 was already taken.

So, once you get your account back, you might be in a differnt sever, with weird ass hat names. All his gear was stripped, but they didn't mess with his Rare/Ex stuff. THey did lvl his 74 Sam to lvl 75..which i guess was nice of them....

The Super GM was very nice, and was able to jump from server to server, which was cool. The Regular GM just kept asking us if we wanted to roll back the account, and couldn't wrap it around his head that it's pointless.

I am curious, are you still paying for service while they attempt to retrieve your character?

Re: Is it time to quit?

My Roomy was charged for 40 bucks after he reactivated the account. We figured it was from the time it was from the time the account was compromised up to when it was put on hold. And since the hacker didn't use a "real" credit Card, the charges were backing up. So he had to pay for when the Hacker had control up to when it blocked all together, but all he had to do was call SE agian...to explain the cituation to them and they removed the charges.

So yeah, you kinda do still get charged up to the time the account is de-activated by SE.

yeah I have not seen any charges on my bank account for that chr yet. atleast I dont think so my husband and I pay for 4 accounts, mine, his, his brothers, and my one that was stolen. But that one has not been charged at all recently so I'm assuming they changed the credit card info. It also might have something to do with my account being frozen by SE.

What I dont get is why on earth do people steal game accounts.........

Re: Is it time to quit?

Naw you wont' see any charges until you try to re-activate it. That's when you get the whammy, so when you do get the Email from them and call SE to reactivate it, tell them you don't want to be charged for the time when it was compromised.

Well I got a bit upset the other day my friend told me he sent in his notary form a week ago and SE already sent him an email for him to get it back.

If we are on some type of list to get our characters back how ome its taken me 4 months and still no email?

I'm about to send in my Notary form but I don't see a area for contact info so they may reply to me after they allow me to have access again. What did others do? Anyone able to forward me their original email from POL about the Notary form? Please, if so PM me please

                    Thanks!
