  • Job Change - Help!

    Hi Everyone.

Ok so after finishing SMN I have decided to start a new job!.
Thing is I can't decide what to do.
    I have the following SJ's
    WHM
    SMN
    BLM
    NIN(soon I'm lvlin it atm)

But not sure what combos work with the SJ's I have.
Really any info that ppl can give me will be great, I have read some of the guides but I'd like to hear some peoples personal views on different jobs.

Anyway hope someone can give me abit of info on different job combos with the SJ's I have and also there personal experience with them.

Sounds like RDM or SCH would be the best bets for the SJs you have avaliable.

In particular for sub levels you'll want WHM or BLM anyway for SCH (and SCH itself makes a good sub), but if you're looking to take one job from 1-75 non-stop, probably the best bets would be:
RDM (/WHM and /BLM will cover you pretty well here)
BRD (/WHM and /NIN should cover things)
Other things that can be mostly covered by listed subs:
WAR (Might want to solo this to 24, but from then on WAR/NIN is fairly standard fare)
THF (THF/NIN is standard fare, though you'll probably want to acquire /WAR at some point later)
BST (/WHM will cover you for solo, though you might want /WAR for group stuff)
RNG (/NIN will cover you for a while, though you might want to solo to 24 using /WHM and may want to consider getting /WAR later on)
BLU (BLU/NIN is pretty standard fare and BLU/WHM could be pretty useful early on, though some people may look at you funny for not subbing /WAR pre-20.
COR (COR/WHM and COR/NIN are pretty common, though you might want to invest in getting /RNG for this one)
DNC (DNC/NIN is standard fare, though you might want to solo to 20 first)
SCH (As noted, /WHM and /BLM will get you started, but you'll really want to pick up /RDM later)

At any rate, keep in mind that most non-mage jobs are probably going to call for you to add /WAR to your subs list sooner or later.

Meh I wasn't impressed with sch when lvling it for a sub. It might get better in the later levels but to 37, I wasn't impressed.

Completely unrelated but when I see the OP's name I can't help but think of Woody Harrelson playing a transvestite in Anger Management.
