Implementing Hair and face changes?

I was reading around on the wiki and I saw that poll, is it true that they might be implementing hair and face changes?

Q: What would you change about your character if this was true?
A: I would change my mithra hairstyle, I am tired of the white spikey look almost everyone has it =]

Would be nice. and adding thesr face/colour or hell, even race changes with a small fee would be a nice income boost for SE, I don;t see them doing it anytime soon, They just don't seem to like letting us change.

It was said that they might be adding it, so Im assuming if they do it will be in the near future if not the next update =] if that is so then the update coming up will be the best in SE's FFXI history! lol I mean look at all the stuff we get so far! I see it as a possibility b/c their competition MMORPG's Have way more advanced character creation options, and I think they are finally start to notice where they are lacking.

The only way I would change is if they add further selections, and one of those somehow makes me look more galkatastically sexy. Currently, this is not possible.

Because I remember SE saying it would be near impossible to add. And with the way face/hair models works in this game, even if it was added it would be horribly limited.

But even if it was put in, I wouldn't change a thing.

Q:Can we have a hairdresser NPC, allowing players to change their hairstyle?
A:It is technically possible to change hairstyle/color and face type. They are discussing how/if to implement this. No additional colors or styles would be possible other than from character creation options.

Pretty much what I figured. It would be nothing more then just picking a new head out of the ones currently in game. Which would actually be kinda sucky imo...

Not really: I can just pay (if the hairdresser demands payment) any Mithra off the streets of Sandy for that one quest involving finding prince Trion a bride . . .

I dislike this for really no other reason than it makes douchebags who want to server hop after stealing LS funds and such that much harder to find.

I really think this is a good idea, I mean really I have the white spikey haired mithra and that was a BIG mistake almost everyone has that look. Id like to change to something hardly anyone has like face 2A =]

Nope. People who change servers change their names. Some lie about it, too. Every day on BG there's at least half a dozen background checks where people have no idea who the person is.
