campaign and trial weapons?

hello, i was wondering if anyone knows for sure if you can work the latents off of the weapon skills trial weapons? i have been doing numerous campaign battles on drk with pick of trials. i still have not wore off the latent from this weapon. i have went from 2 stars to 2 emblems and the latent is still there. thanks for all that reply.

You cannot gain any latent points while under the effect of Allied Tags.

Actually, you can break latent during Campaign. I did it with both the Trial Knuckles and Destroyers.

Really @@? Did the latent effect break off during the Campaign Battle with Allied Tag on? If it is true, would be very nice... <me> still have 2 trial weapons plus 1 latent weapon yet to be done ('-'*)

My Destroyers, I noticed the damage difference while in campaign, with tag on. My Trial Knuckles, I didn't notice til just after campaign ended, but that was because I wasn't expecting any change.
