My work firewall blocks the ffxiwiki site but until yesterday would allow me to get onto the bgwiki site, Main Page - BGWiki. But now it's blocked. Anyone have any other site i can try that would have like item / quest lookup in the format of the above 2 sites? I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

No, those are the only two wikis of that nature the community has to offer. If you really need to browse this kind of material at work, I suggest you look at various documents on the web about circumventing firewalls/filters of this nature. Use firefox, install the tor-button along with privoxy and tor, and you'll get around the firewall no problem.

try to find a proxy to get atround it...that's what I do where I am.(mostly because I'm locked out of RPGamer.)
Also...well maybe you can use remote access to use your home PC to alt around it too...Shadowneko's FFXI Newbie Guide 2009
