I don't get this. I hate wireless. The fucking batteries always, always, ALWAYS die when I'm in the middle of something important.

Besides, I'm blind as shit. I can't sit far enough from the screen for wireless to be useful because I wouldn't be able to see what the hell was going on.

Uhg i hate that messenger kit. (never used it) but it's just so ...akward looking. And i dont see a Tab button on there. something about haveing to click a green button to get keys to do something different. Dont know really how it works. but the way a keyboard works is just way more fundamental and easy to do auto-translate function.

Thats fine if you aren't chatting much. I use it when I am farming or crafting. If I'm doing an ls event where communicating fast and at length is important, then the messenger keyboard just doesn't make the cut.

I prefer wireless because it's, wireless! No more messy wires running all over my lovely desk. Plus I like to kick back in my chair and write with the keyboard in my lap. Granted, when I do that is mostly when I'm feeling creative and working on a book/game/story/whatever, which isn't as often as I may like, but it's still what I like to be able to do and a wired keyboard just doesn't let me do that.

And while sure, that's for the PC and not Xbox or whatever, but just looking at how I have my PS/PS2 setup on or near my desk, I know if I had an Xbox that it would be a similar arrangement and would work the same.

Wired keyboards can be fun though. I'll lift my keyboard up as my grandsons run across the living room and trip them with the cord.

O.O dont do that..
The chord can pull your system out of its safe little haven on top of your desk.
And end up falling onto the floor. Causeing you to have to replace your dads PS2 Hard drive that was broken in the process >.> No that didnt happen to me what you talking 'bout <.<

i might try with a reg keyboard but it'd have to be wireless since my couch is about 15-20 feet from the 50 inch =P

lucky T.T a 50 inch TV... /sigh what i would give for that. my bed is like 1-2 feet away from my like 16inch..... but my consoles are on a seperate stand about 5-6 feet from my bed. the chords still reach with a slight tug when i pull back to much. its just enough reach for me i guess.. id like a little more.. or just wireless.. but as its been said. The batteries always die at a bad point. plus its just extra money to go out and keep buying batteries all the time. (the 360 controller seems to EAT the batteries like crazy... maybei just play to much =/ )

15-20 feet? Ok, you must be exaggerating. I have a 52" wall mounted LCD and the recommended distance is 6-8 feet. If you are at 15+ you must need binoculars to watch tv! LOL

So Humar, don't fret. I sit too far to use a corded keyboard so mine is wireless. Besides if I really want to have fun, I just tell them the ice cream truck is coming and they run outside. Then I lock the door and have a few hours of uninterrupted gaming fun! LOL

Now what exactly is the crime rate like in your city?
Is it safe to assume that your kids might be the problem?
Due to the lack of said Ice Cream truck and being locked outside i conclude that in a sugarless induced rage your kids may or may not have produced weapons of destruction from their diapers/skivvies/underwear and felt the urge to rob/steal/vandalise/rape/destroy/murder and overall commit vast acts of evil across the city.

In addition to that.. they may themselves be robbed/killed/raped/vandalised by any and all other children set into this rage.

There fore.. That is a very VERY bad idea TGM

I am still using the same usb keyboard that i bought for my ps2 ( $10 @ wal-mart) three years ago for my x-box 360 now.
