    They DO make USB extender cables. I use one for my cheapo USB keyboard on the odd out chance I actually play my 360 version of ffxi.

      Just so you know the messenger keypad does NOT allow you to parse in FFXI's langauge, make macros, or do half of what a real keybd does - and since it has no "/" key, you cannot use it to change chat modes or input commands to FFXI, in any way.

      You will only be able to text chat and pretty much only without punctuation, capitalization or anything.

      It's great for games like MGS or Halo - useless for FFXI - go to walmart and get a $19 keybd

        its pretty much useless for any online RPG ;p same thread over at the PSU forums, and the OP was told pretty much the same thing here lol
