HELP!!! kinda urgent

ok searched a little while through to threads on a number of sites to no avail, u guys seen the most clued up so ur my only hope...............
The story goes like this. few years ago on my 360 i played FFxi constantly, but got bored as i knew hardley anyone on there. deleted the software and that was the end of that. until lately, i work in a games shop now and me and a lot of my workmates have decided to buy the latest edition with all the expansion packs. no trouble installing it at all but as soon as i get to the log in screen i link it to my "gamer profile" and it wont let me log in because obviously my old account is still logged into it.
I have no paperwork or remember what my old username and password is, so apart from creating a whole new "live" account is there a way i can get my old account details back (i know the email it was registered to but not the card as its now expired)
Also for one other kick in the teeth for me i cant even call up play online as my mobile phone has decided to give up on life.

any help appreciated.

perhaps try reinstalling it and selecting first time user. This should give you the option to re register with the universal code included in the vanadiel 08(maybe 07) software package that contains all the expansions and original release. You will be issued a new Play Online ID and be able to login and register ffxi and all expansion with the cd key (should be the same for everything with their new 1 code registration.)

You will have to start over fresh with this method, and that is assuming you purchased a new software package, if you deleted everything from your XBOX HDD then I can't be much of a help and your best bet is to find a landline phone and contact Playonline Services. Chances are they wont do anything, so you may have to buy the new software package, then again they may. I don't know what else to add, other than best of luck and enjoy the ffxi experience.

Mr Mageo i installed it all as i would a new user...............ive got a long day at work 2moro but im guna buy another xbox live 12month card on my lovely discount (how i love thee) and i will give you guys a post 2moro on this thread see if that helps.

as far as i know (not an xbox owner) you dont need to have a paid xbox live subscription. You should be fine with the bronze version (silver if you want voice chat). If you havent got a new edition the reg code wont work. You'll need a new package (any will do but if you want wings of the goddess you'll need the 08 pack) although i could be wrong about xbox live (im a ps2/3 PC user so I dont really know how xbox live affects it.

Youll more than likely get the same from playonline, they have cracked down on account recovery etc , because of the large amount of hacked/stolen/purchased accounts due to there new stance on RMT activities.

Playonline accounts must be tied to Gamertags on the Xbox 360 version. Once one is linked, as far as I know, it can not be unlinked. You'll have to recove your old account or start a new Gamertag.

ok so basically ive brought myself a new 12 month live subscription i figure its probably easiest in the long run.
So if anyone sees 4 really low level players running away from a bee shouting for help that'll probably be me and my work collegues.
